Paper? Polyester??

I've been going back and forth between paper and cloth napkins. I personally want polyester or satin napkins. My mother says they aren't necessary and i should get paper ones. I plan on putting a fuschia napkin at each place setting with the favor box on it. The table cloths will be white. Im wondering if it'll look tacky, for lack of a better word, with paper napkins. The paper napkins are big enough to fold so maybe it'll be ok.

like you i prefer polyester or satin but as you have said the paper napkins are actually big enough to fold so that should work hunni :)

I prefer polyester. BIL used paper napkins at his wedding, but they rolled the cutlery up in them and tied them with ribbon. They had a very casual bbq tye reception though. I think you have to think about the formality of your event as well.
