Wedding Dress

Final Fitting was today but...

Went tonight for what was supposed to be my final fitting but I will have to go another time. The picture shown is the veil I choose, it was between this one or one similar but was much longer.. this one goes PERFECT with my dress and the color matches great too since my gown in light gold. I tired my dress on and I noticed it was taken up on the sides for part of the hem and I did not like the way it looked so I had the seamstress take that out and it needs to be re-hemmed. Also when she was going thru the layers there was still pins in the crinoline part of the dress!! I was supposed to take my dress today but I am glad we got everything straightened out because it looks so beautiful now I LOVE it and cannot wait for my FH to see my coming down the isle :)

I also brought along three necklaces to try with my dress and the one I bought looks great, at first I did not like it but the more I looked at it, it grew on me and now i think it matches perfect, not I just have to find some matching earrings. I got the necklace at Kohls on sale plus I had 30% off!! I love getting a bargain!!

Along the same note but on a plus side.. since I ordered the dress I lost about 20 pounds and since i was pinned the first time for alterations I lost about 15 The shop owner and seamstress said I cannot lose anymore weight or the dress will not fit and I will have to pay way more for it to be fixed. As you can see from my picture there is not much more room to tighten in the corset area.. they told me to eat lots of hamburgers haha!!

44 more days!! I cannot wait till I get to wear my beautiful gown and my veil!!
