Wedding Reception - OMG - absolutely devasted, it has been burnt down!!!!!

OMG - absolutely devasted, it has been burnt down!!!!!

..............exactly what it says. I can't believe it, I am gutted!! The venue of my dreams was burnt down last night! I just can't believe it, I'm back to square one again! I just don;t know what to do!

Some poopoo face decided that it waould be a good idea to set it on fire - my beautiful dreams and wedding plans have all gone to pot now!!!

What am I going to do?? I'm not really worried about the time, but it was the most beautiful place around here - I am lost!!!!!

Im am so sorry to hear that. That is so terrible! Someone actually set it on fire, or was it accidental? Keep your head up! Everything will pull together! Anything can be beautiful with a little TLC :) Best of luck with everything

im so sorry to hear this, i dont even know what to say! that is so disapointing.. I wonder if they will rebuild or what in time for the wedding! good luck and im really sorry!

OMG!!! That is just terrible :( I hope that you find something that you love just as much...I know that it doesn't seem like there is much light at the end of the tunnel, but I truly believe everything happens for a reason. Keep ur chin up :)

Wow, I'm so sorry for you and other brides that had booked their receptions there, but feel even worse for the owners and employees! That's terrible!

I'm soooo sorry! Had you put a deposit down yet? If so you need to start trying to figure out how to get it back...if not you are LUCKY!

we recently had a drama with our venue too
went bust! so we've had to change plans at the last minute
everything happens for a reason
(so i try to tell myself)
and maybe it's because there's somewhere ever better for you?

It was actualy set on fire on Sunday night!!!

No we paid our deposit in January, once we'd sorted out our finances. I am hoping that we'll get it back, but I just don;t know yet!!! Still yet to get through to them!

I know - I just think perhaps we aren't meant to get married there. SO even if they 'might' rebuild it, I don't know if I'll want to get married there anyway now!

But do not give up girl! I had the 'venue' of my dreams squashed at least 4 times until I found the one.
