OK ladies so me and my hubby to be are doing CD favors as well as a candy buffet. So I've been burning like crazy and sticking on labels. We print labels ourselves because it was ten time cheaper. We order blank CD labels from stocklabelstore.com they were 100 sheets for 12.95 but it 2 labels per sheet so 200 labels for $13.00...OMG right!! then the cds themselves came from compusa.com we have a store in Raleigh so i just went to store but you can go online. We got 50 verbatim cds that hold 80 minutes for 4.99 so $16.00 for 150 cds. And we used our stand hp printer to do labels, and cd sleeves came from office depo for 5.99 for 100.... So 150 customer cd favors for under $40 dollars. Let me know what you think ladies... first one is blue and second and third is white

Thats what I have and you just went powerpoint...you go girl..I was going to buy some from this girl one etsy.com for like $2.00 each then I'm like Lord please....so I'm on my way. I have one question to you. I all of the CD's in packages work? I was told that some of them don't all work. Meaning you have a few..umm thinking of the word..dudds that you cant use just wont let you download anything? Just want to know how many you had.
Courius what songs you have also? We are have some luther.....beyonce...india irie.....blah blah stevie wonder etc.

@sallymarie81 yes they were just plain white cd lables. so when i order them from stockcdlables.com they have a design template that is on their website to download it comes up in office/word so we just added clip art and shading to the circles and the names and wedding dates are just word text boxes that we inserted on them. so it was really easy just played around with the shading and coloring that til we got one we liked. I have office 2007 so the page layout tab is were we did all the editing from the shading to bring the text up front to creating the water mark scroll design on side. and on the cds we have some KC and Jo jo, Beyonce, Jamie Fox, Trey songs, Luther, Jagged edge, boy II men, and so on its 17 songs i believe. We had 4 dubb CDs total out of all 150 so i would say verbatim is best cd we have ever burned with. hope this helps if you need anymore help just shot me and email. or comment again glad to be a helping hand

This is what I'm using as a favor. But instead of searching all over I bought my labels and inserts online from a company called CDbyME. They cost about 1 dollar each and they did all the work! Does anyone know how many songs will fit on a standard CD-R? I suppose it depends on song length but I just want an estimate !
