I found my cake for a very very reasonable price. Plus I've looked up the reviews for this bakery and most are very good. (Everyone cant all be satisfied, hell they are human). Plus, they deliver to the reception site or hotel
Anyway, the price for the cake I've chosen is 223.00. He sent over a price after I inquired. Plus, he said if that wasnt in my budget he would work with me for a less expensive. How can 223.00 not be reasonable? For my last wedding my mom paid 800.00. |

Tuxedo
A black Tie Affair
Ok, after much research I've located a place for Shon and his best man to rent a tuxedo from in Las Vegas. They cater to out of town customers. All they have to do is go to a nearby renter and get the measurements and submit them online under our wedding party.
They will do drop-offs and pickups from the hotel as well. In addition, if something doesnt fit right, they will alter them right away. The shops name is Tuxedo Junction. For anyone interested the website is www.tuxedojunction-lv.com. Now I need your help, which tux do you like best? |

found these flowers from one of the florist in Las Vegas. They are so very nice and the good part is they are included in the wedding package.
I also posted a picture of red and pink roses with white cali lilies. I added this one because it's just pretty. Hopefully another bride on here might get an idea. Tell me what you think about that. |

Wedding Reception Site
Ok, now my online friends know how much I love the ol'vintage look and old antique buildings. I found this hotel online on the knot web site. I absolutely love it. Plus, the rooms are very nice.
The hotel has 11 resturants, spa, pool, casino, chapel, and florist. If you can think of an amenity it probably has it. I'm thinking about staying 4 nights and 5 days here. My only concern now is having a reception. I prefer a sit down reception with about 25 close family and friends. Then we can go to our rooms get dressed (well Shon and I will play grown-up b4 one of us gets drunk) and hit Jay-Z's club 20/20. This sounds like fun. I hope all this planning works out. Pray for me...... |

Change of Plans
Vegas Wedding Here We Come
Well, I guess all my wedding plans have come to a hault. Well not actually but all the details have changed. Shon and I sat down to go over a budget and he wasnt too thrilled with all the costs that "WE" have to foot. To be honest neither was I. So he remember back when I was saying "Baby all I want is to be your wife". Blah Blah Blah. Now he is like, lets just got to Vegas and have something nice there. I went online and found several venues that'll host a wedding for little or nothing. What is most important to me are the pictures though. So, now I have to redo the wedding attire and pick a venue that's all inclusive. Maybe a hotel will work. Donno. One sad thing is the kids were so excited. I dont think I'll be flying them down to Vegas. We'll only do a few friends and get hitched.
By the way, I left out that we are still buying furniture for our home and painting walls and the kids need new beds (blah blah blah). So I suppose this is for the best. Any ideas! |

Need help dropping Pounds
As you can see, I took the pic sitting down. I've gained about 15 pounds since the baby that I cant get rid of. Going to the gym isnt an option because i just dont have the time. What I've learned is to put the spoon down when i'm finished eating. Yeah right! That depends on what I'm eating. LOL

I am really a plain girl, I prefer the elegant, antique theme instead of the cinderella. I'm having a hard time deciding accent colors. I notice lace is in. I would like a little lace incorporated into the reception. My DH is excited but leaving all the details to me. Thanks Baby! LOL
