Not Sure If I Want A Red Dress Alil Ghetto To Me But It WOuld Be Diff

This is too funny!  Since this is your day, try on both the red dress, & maybe a white dress with red accents.  Then decide which one you like best.  I think it might look a little better if your dress didn't completely match the bridesmaid's dresses, because after all....you are the bride & you deserve the center stage.  Either way, you can't go wrong with whatever you feel most fabulous in :)

I think that it is completely up to you, however this is your wedding day and and white is your color for the day.  Noone else is allowed to wear that color to your wedding (well hopefully they wont) so take advantage of it.  I am going with a white dress with red accents and its gorgeous.  I think if you went with this route you would still get the affect of having red so you can match your bridesmaids and your decor without looking like your wearing a prom dress.  That is my opinion, but I am sure that you will look gorgeous no matter you wear!

I say do what you will love. I have a red dress and I love it. Normally white would be your color for the bride but it is your wedding and you can pick your own color. My bridesmaids and groomsmen are in black and my husband will be in a white tux. It is your day so do what makes you happy. Don't worry about looking like your wearing a prom dress a red wedding dress looks just like a wedding dress just red no one would mistake that. Make your day how you want. Mine is red and pink and white, I love it and my husband will love it, that is all that matters.

Congratttttttts on the engagement and Happy Wedding Planning!!!!...I think you should try both and see which one you feel the most beautiful in. Your wedding, your way or no way..lol!!! but i dont think the red  dress is ghetto i think it would be diffrent and a unique taste of style. Go girl!

Both would be gorgeous.  I am wearing a lime green dress, I say go with red....it makes it your signature, ya know?  But, it's your dress, and you should pick whichever one makes you feel absolutely stunning.

I love the red dress.  I have an all red wedding gown and Iove it.  I am getting married on Halloween 10/31/08.  I got the gown at in 2006 when I first saw it because I was afraid I would never find it again!

I don't see why a red dress would be considered ghetto, maybe if you had a red b-ball jersey and made it into a wedding dress...thats just my take. I'm wearing a red dress. I had the same idea for my wedding girls in red, boys in white but then I figured I should be the "wow" factor and my girls will wear a different color.

do the red girl!!!! it won't be ghetto. It will be different  and beautiful. they wouldn't make it red if it couldn't be worn for your wedding. my dress is going to be red and BEAUTIFUL!!!!! don't be a follower be a leader. and DO NOT let your bridesmaids wear the same color as you. IT'S YOUR DAY. ALL EYES SHOULD BE ON YOU & THEY WILL TRUST ME.
