Dress shopping DRAMA
Ladies have you ever been out shopping for that PERFECT outfit, but no matter what and how many different things you try on something just wasn't right. I mean not terribly wrong or anything like that, but just a little not right. Well guess what I just figured out whats not right. Woo Hooo Believer it or not its not the clothes it YOU lol. So ok girls
.. Here I am out shopping in the usual Mall Armor: blue jeans, a baseball cap, screen tee, HUGE bag, and flip flops looking for a fabulous Little Black Dress to wear to our engagement party and NOTHING works but shoes. So 4 malls and countless miles later a 16 year old kid with wayyyyy to much eye liner and lashes on tells me. Its not the outfit sweetness its you! So Im like say wahhh lol. She was like dont be getting all snappy with me Miss Thang (rolls her eyes at me then smiles) look at how youre dressed. So now Im like ok am I being punkd? She then goes on to explain how when youre out shopping for a specific outfit you should try and look the part as much as possible. That way you can get a better idea of the actual look youre going for. WoW!!! So how slow am I????? Lol that thought NEVER crossed my freakin mind lol. She has no idea how much time shes saved the rest of my life. My mom always said you learn a new thing every day and you have no idea where its coming from so keep an open mind. So Ladies lesson learned be sure and look the part while out shopping for that perfect dress! Besides it makes for great pics!!!! Lots of love and Happy Shopping!!!!!!

I found this pillow at Wal-Mart for $10 they also had matching FG baskets which are super cute and guestbooks. Not bad considering I can't sew and it's being held together by glue lol.

Homemade Texas Pralines
Ok so for the past 3 months my FH and I have been going to Walgreens every other day to buy one of these little Pecan Pralines the sell for 2 bucks at the register. Ladies don't be fooled by the fact that things things are at the cash register next to the gum, eye drops, chap-stick, and party pack of condoms lol. These things are like little creamy balls of crack. One bite of this praline and all is right in the world for me. The FH loves to bring them home when he's in the dog house because ALL is forgiven then lol that's how good they are. So anyway as I sit here eating my 100th praline of the year I desperately search for the perfect wedding favor. I don't want to do the usual little trinket with our names and wedding dates nope none of that for me I want to give my guest something they will actually use or enjoy. So I'm on this other catty wedding website (the brides on the knot are so mean) and they mention giving your guest something that's meaningful to you and the groom. Ok something meaningful...... (smoke starts to come out my ears for thinking so hard lol) that'll fit in cute little boxes. Then in my last bite it hits me PECAN PRALINES. Everyone I know loves pralines especially good pralines which are super hard to come by because of how much time and effort they take to make. So I google the brand name and OMG they're made in Texas and they sell to the general public. Now the only thing I have to decide is do I want to tease them with the 1oz or spoil them with the 2. Wow I told you these things are the answer to everything.

Ok so it's official I'm a total DIY junkie I fell in love with the idea of bouquet jewelry, but was a little deterred once I seen the prices so I did what any Bride who wants the world on budget would do. I went to hobby lobby with two 40% off coupons one for the wire and the other for the beads. Then tadaaaa Bouquet Jewelry!! Grand total $2.29 see ladies we really can have it ALL all on a budget.

My First Bouquet
Ok ladies tell me what you think. Pretty good for my first try and it only took about 20 minutes. The night before our BIG day my BM and I will get tipsy, listen to music , eat LOW SODIUM foods (no need for extra water weight the day before lol), and make our own bouquets. They each get $25 to personalize their bouquets within reason.
