13 pounds in 3 weeks!

How I excited I am to have discovered this Magical Weight loss pill! I know that sounds crazy...I dont understand it completely...and I know people say its not good to lose weight quickly but I am amazed at the results! and sssooo happy to be losing weight. Not only is this pill working but the diet that I have been on has me eating better than I have in my whole entire life. I pray that after I discontinue the pills I will be able to maintain this healthy eating lifestyle! I plan to be looking FABulous on my wedding day! Thats my motivation!

My favorite look

This is probably one of my all time favorite hair styles. It has this classic feel and I remember feeling like such a "lady" when I had it. I want to keep with this look for my wedding...Too bad my old hair dresser dropped off the face of the earth!

Wedding Reception

Found a Venue!

Ok...Looking to the right you can see that my wedding date is A WAYS from now. But it was really important to me to at least know where I wanted to have it. I spent hours researching places and even visiting places. With site rental fees and catering most places were averaging at least 5,000 just for the venue alone.

THEN...God sent his mercies down upon me! My mother and I got the idea to check out the Golf club at the nearby Army base. (These clubs are on every base and they are beautiful). This one is in Atlanta, GA and is called The Commons at Ft. McPherson. The site fee is less than $500 for a beautiful ballroom with patio area! The max for catering was $18 a plate! What! You know you cant beat that! Thank God for the perks that come along with having an Army retired father!

ps: there are no color photos of this place online that I could find. This one was the best I could find.

Lovin the dress

My wedding scheme...as of now is peach/champagne/brown...I thought peach would be a bit much for bridesmaids dressed and I didnt want to go as dark as brown for a summer wedding. I LOVE the style of this dress. Too bad the website did not have a price on it. I have to actually go into the boutique to find out. Crossing my fingers because I really want this for my girls!

Question about budget. Please help!

I do not plan to have a big budget for this wedding. I know the venue takes a substancial portion of the budget. Does anyone know what percentage of the budget I should anticipate spending on the venue? The places that I am looking at include catering and some decor.

He finally proposed!

My boyfriend of 5 years finally proposed on July 13/14 (it was after midnight) on our 5 year anniversary. We already have a 1 year old daughter. We are planning a wedding for 7/10/10. Im excited to be his wife and feel like a complete family.

Anyway...TIme to get started with wedding planning.
