Overall look
Overall look
Center tall cylinder
damask votive candles
ribbon wrapped cylinder, I wouldn't do so much though
this is trombone brides vase wrap and I thought it 'd be really cute on either the two side cylinders or the large cent one. but since it has the flowers maybe that would be too much?

Wedding Decoration
budget centerpiece

Okay so I've been working on my centerpiece idea and here is what I have so far (I'm such a thief, honestly I took like 4 other peoples ideas and put them together,is that bad? )

1 tall cylinder with a tissue paper pomander (3.99 before coupon at Michaels) (pomanders are 2/4in for $1 at lv discount store, so is 20x26 tissue paper)

2 shorter cylinders with floating candles (1$ each at .99 store)

2 groups of 3 votives wrapped in damask (tape or vellum) (7.99 before coupon at michaels, tape is 8 bucks for a roll)

Total cost per table after coupons is $8 or $9 bucks for 7 or 8 tables

I believe the main photo is from Marta12's wedding

I think its cute...2/ 4 in. balls for a $1 dang you doin big thangs...I thought I was doin good with the 1 for a $1..lol..You got me beat..I wanted to do all the stuff your doin, but our venue is being a jerk about it. They consider the little diamonds "confetti" so we can't use those, and we can't have any open flame candles (so no votives for us) so I'm just gonna do mirrors and flower petals...and maybe a red runner if I can afford em..lol.. My centerpieces actually has the LED lightstand under it so the Jewels change colors every few seconds, So I think in my case, less would be more..lol..

I also am a thief! LOL!!! I have these same centerpieces in my faves from other brides!!! So..kudos to you for having such good taste! I think I am leaning more toward the floating candle one. That or the pomander one!

Ooh I had not thought of the open flame part. But my venue (as of now) has tea lights as their standard centerpiece so they should be okay with votives right?

I would think so....I would ask though to be 100 percent sure...(The no candle policy is actually IN our contract) Booooo..lol...

Hmm...well call me a thief, b/c I think I might steal all of your ideas and make them for MY tables! LMAO! Seriously...GOOD Job on the budget, that is right down my alley!!!! The tall cylinder that is holding your pomanders...you just wrapped ribbon around them right?? They look GREAT!

heather, yeah it is just ribbon around them. the pink ones in the pic are not mine, but I bought some double stick tape and hopefully that will hold the ribbon we will see. I started my flower balls last night, so I will definitely post pics when I finish it!
