Flowers
Ok so the wedding planning has been slow lately because I just started grad school, still working full time, and trying to plan a wedding. It wasn't until I had a crazy dream involving no shoes, me making food for the reception, jet packs, and bird carcasses that I decided that I need to get back on track with the planning.
So I have decided to go with roses throughout the wedding. I love the idea of calla lilies however I know that they are expensive. Do you think that its going to be too much to just have roses or would it be a little tacky to do some of both. If you can't tell, flowers and decorating are not my strong points. Also for my centerpiece I am going to have square vases, but I don't know if I want clear glass or black vases with gray ribbon around the vase with yellow roses. What do you ladies think? |

Songs
I know that I have a lot of time to think about this. But seriously, since the day Marshall asked me to marry him I have been stressing over the songs. I think that we have the first dance picked out, we just have to tweak it a little. But as for the father daughter dance, I'm at a loss. I don't want to do anything extremely traditional. I was thinking the song by Van Morrison have I told you lately, but I don't know if its appropraite. What do you guys think? Also if there are any suggestions for the mother son dance I would love to hear those as well. Thanks for all your help!

Colors
I have chosen yellow and charcoal gray as my colors. I know most people cringe when they hear this, but honestly they look really cool together. Here is my problem. I have the girls in a charcoal dress, looks awesome with my dress. The wedding is an night wedding and fairly formal. I was originally thinking that the guys would look good in gray tuxs but every tux that I see in gray looks more like a business suit and not a tux. Do you think it would look bad to have the girls in gray and the guys in black?
