This is mylbride's Blue Wedding!

I saw those really funny video on youtube.com about surprise wedding dance and I love the idea. Jeff and I plan on doing something really funny for our family and friends as our first dance. we might as well ask our bridesmaids and groomsmen to dance along in our choregraphy. i think it will be a hit, I want people to remember our wedding reception because it was so fun!!

Any of you girls planning on doing such a dance? or do you know people who did?? I wonder how people will react!!

I just love that show!!! I'm listening to it in french and english even though it's the same episodes, I just can't get enough of it!!!

The thing is that I purchased my wedding gown two months and a half ago.... I love my dress but I just want to keep shopping like the girls in the show.... I'm wondering if I could have picked a better dress for me...

Is anyone else feeling the way I do??

I went to the "salon de la mariée" yesterday in Québec and I talk to a florist, which has a really good reputation and is known over here. He was telling me that the bride should have a timeless bouquet meaning that the colors should be soft such as white, peach, green, ivory, etc. That way, you'll be able to enjoy your wedding pictures years from now without saying: "what was I thinking to have such a flower bouquet!"

The biggest trend for 2009 wedding is purple. You can always go crazy for your bridesmaid bouquet (make them fit with your theme). It's only the bride bouquet that needs to be timeless.

Since my wedding color is blue, I wanted to incorporate some of it my bouquet but the florist told me that it was not a good idea since blue flowers are made from white flower and dye and that there could be dye leak which would ruin my dress. He really doesn't recommand it.

I just purchased my garter from etsy.com it looks so pretty plus it will be my something blue for the wedding!! I can't wait to receive it!! You girls should really go and check out this website it has so many beautiful things!!

Hi ladies!!

It's been a long time since I post something... anyway!! I've recently been to two weddings and I saw two different toss... The thing is that both wedding were with my fiancé's family so now I want to do something different so I'm asking you girls to share what you will do on your wedding day (or if you have other suggestions...) for the bouquet and the garther toss....

Are you gonna throw the bouquet or do a fun game??

Will you ask your husband to get you garther with his teeth or something else??

I have found my wedding dress, it is so gorgeous!!! I went shopping with my mother and my MOH to "La Maison Victoria" in Québec. I bought it thursday septembre 18th and I brought it back to my parents' house on friday... I also have my veils and jewelry!!!

I'm sorry but I won't post any picture of it in case someone I know sees it, I want it to be a surprise for everyone!!!

I went dress shopping for the first time with my mother this afternoon. I have tried on only 3 dresses but I think I know which style I prefer.... I'll probably go to Montréal next week to do more dress shopping. I really loved it but the ladie wasn't that nice.. anyway I'll keep you up beat throughout my dress shopping adventures hihihi

We have chosen our photographer!!!
He has a photo-journalistic approach and does the prettiest wedding pictures. We will have two photographer, him and his wife and they will be with us from the dressing to the first dance. I am so excited we are gonna have the best wedding pictures ever!!

This is the place we chose for our wedding reception.

It's the Parc Aquarium de Québec.

It has a great view and many spots where we will be able to shoot our wedding pictures. It fits with my theme and I love that place!! Of course we will have round tables but I haven't found any pictures of it...

The picture called "Vue5" is the terasse where we will have cocktail those little plastic chairs and table won't be there... hihi

Can't wait!! Isn't it beautiful?? :)

Ok so I think I'm really gonna go with paradise islands for the names of the tables. I've done some reasearch over the internet and there is so many choices that I could have thousands of guests and not run out of names!!! hihi

I thought of maybe placing on each table a postcard or pictures of the island so that my guests would appreciate the names...hahaha

The paradise island theme would be perfect cuz we are doing our reception at L'Aquarium de Québec.... I think it's meant to be hahaha

Can't wait to do all the things that I have planned and get married to my Jeff!!!! :)

my fiancé and I are thinking of having names for tables instead of numbers. The trouble is that our colour is blue and the only thing that pops in my mind is ocean and sea names.... but one of my good friends did it last summer so now I don't know what to do... I tought of naming the tables after paradise islands such as Fiji, Bahamas, Atlantis, Bermuda.... what do you girls think?

Are any of you naming the tables instead of numering (is that a real word??)???

I just started looking into some portfolio of photographers I found on the internet and I was wondering how did you girls knew that a certain photographer had to be yours???

Please help because I'm starting to get really freaked out about it.... I want my wedding pictures to be perfect!!

I finally did our monogram but I just love doing them so I made a lot and now I don't know which I like better... The thing is that I know i'm gonna keep making monograms hihihi

Please tell me which you like best and keep in mind that I'll keep my last name after the wedding...

By the way... does anyone know a website where I could get flourishes or flowers to put in the background of my monogram??

I've seen many of you girls posting monograms and I absolutely love it!!! I have a question, when you put the family name or first letter of the family name of your man, is it because you will change your name for his after the wedding?? Cuz I won't be changing my name and I really like the idea of a monogram, what should I do?? Other question, how do you girls do it???
