Well it took a very long time. Mostly because I ran out of crystals twice and was very lazy about ordering more. I think it came out very well. The H is clear crystal and fuschia the J is Clear and black diamond and the C is all 3 colors. I really love the way it all came together
I ended up using about 600 9mm crystals 350 12mm and close to 50 16mm....
The picture doesn't do it justice at all and the colors don't show very well at all but my camera is old and only 3mgp.
I got all my gems froms Artbeads.com they have great prices and FREE SHIPPING
I got the toppers from Crafty Eddie. He has great prices and hundreds of different fonts. I think I paid 20 for all 3 letters with shipping. His letters are made from wood so you have to paint them. My baker loved this because she said often times brides come in with metal one which are very heavy and hard to get to stay up.
I'm not an ebay or paypal user, so I don't want to go through ebay to by inexpensive letters. Does Crafty Eddie have a website or email to contact him?
Crafty Eddie contact info is Craftyeddie@gmail.com OR craftyeddy@gmail.com I believe its the first one. He will send you an email with an attachment to examples and different fonts. Hes very speedy and he accepts paypal or moneyorders through the mail Hope this helps
You did a great job! I wasn't planning on having a cake topper (just using flowers) but when I see toppers like this I so want to make one. lol They really do look very good!
I used the regular flatback crystals not hotfix and the glue I used was E6000 Glue. It comes in a grey tube and can be found at Michaels, or probably any craft store.
