HELP...Name issues!!!

My fiance never really cared for his first name and has used his middle name since he was a teenager. I happen to like his name but he refuses to allow me to put it on save the dates, invitations, webste, etc. No one knows his first name, even alot of his family...so they wouldn't even know who he was on the invitation. Obviously it will be on the marriage license, but is it okay to use his middle name on all other print materials???

You should definitely respect his wishes. You want him to feel comfortable and happy with the wedding and planning process too. Make your FH feel loved and supported like you want to feel too :)

I would let him use his middle name. It's more "HIM" and the wedding is really about that - who you both are as people and as a couple.

Thanks ladies! I changed the name around on all printed materials, just wasn't sure if that was acceptable or not, but since it's our weding, I guess what we want goes!!!

yes its def acceptable. My fiance also goes by his middle name. we are using his middle name on all non legal documents. we even asked the priest to refer to him by his middle name in the ceremony and he was fine with that.

Thanks! Thats good to hear! Didn't even think about asking the pastor to refer to him by his middle name. Will definately do that!
