One of the wedding tasks I thought would be the easiest turned out to be one of the top 3 headaches. I have 6 ladies in my bridal party, 3 MOH and 3 BM. I wanted my MOH's to stand out so I thought about having different dress styles. I decided to let them choose their own dresses, but was I in for a surprise. MOH 1 & 3 were pretty much open to whatever I liked and weren't very picky...but MOH #2 was a nightmare. She questioned every decision, style, color, fabric, length, cut, shape, you name it she gave me a hard time. I clearly said choose a long chiffon dress in a Tiffany/Pool blue. MOH #2 sends me pictures of satin ball gowns, lol. We went back and forth for a few days over this. I even asked her several times to meet me at David's bridal to look at the dresses in person and have her try them on. Do you think she made time? NO.
At this point I'm so over it. Instead of losing a friend, I went back to the family owned bridal shop where i purchased my dress and looked at their selection of bridesmaids dresses. They had a great selection with a "Tiffany" collection, so I can have the exact shade I want The style pictured will be the dress ALL of the girls will be wearing. I didn't want to make that decision, but they left me with no choice. MOH #2 was a headache, MOH #1 has been busy with her sister's wedding approaching soon, MOH #3 lives in a different city as well as one of my BM, so this will make things alot easier, especially with so many variations of Tiffany Blue. I love this style, I think it will flatter all the girls figures, and it flows with the design of my dress. The prices are a little more expensive than David's Bridal but hey, they have more than enough time right?
