Something I didn't give much thought about was what kind of shoes my fiance and his groomsmen would wear. The only thing we discussed were the tux/suits he liked, which are something similar to the pic (light tan/khaki color with tiffany blue tie/vest). I just figured they would wear a nice pair of dress shoes or boat shoes for a more casual look because we are going to be on the lake. So I decided to text him one day while I was sitting at my desk browsing the web, asking what he had in mind as far as shoes. When he texted back that he was planning on wearing tennis shoes I thought it was a joke (he's Mr. funny guy). But when he said you know I love my adidas & I have to be comfortable...I knew he was serious. I didn't know how to react to that news, but I figured every aspect of the wedding other than the suits were my ideas, why not let him have his choice of what to wear on his feet (something simialr to the shoes pictured in #2). I googled some pics of the shoes he liked and I wasn't really sold on the idea, but I think they'd make for great pics & add a personal touch to our wedding. He's also planning on getting them engraved with their names or initials. What do you think of the casual shoe trend? What is your groom/groomsmen wearing?
