This is mzchoklat's Purple Wedding!

The mood was right, everything went so well. Still on our honeymoon just wanted to share some of our wedding photos, enjoy!

My bachelorette party was this weekend and it was awesome!!! The girls outdid themselves, they organized everything from the food, games, gift bags and the entertainment. He was really nice on the eyes if I may say so myself, lol! The food was off the chain...I went on a diet just so I could enjoy the food. We had taco salad, crab and artichoke dip, cincinnati dip, buffalo dip, jerk wings, margarita wings (which we kept trying to drink the margarita up while my cousin was making the wings), spinach dip oh and a pan of bar b que ribs! (those ribs got hidden until we all came back from the club, I had like 20 people in the house after the clubs smashing those ribs!!!
And for the cakes...of course the chocolate on chocolate fondant penis cake with cream filling, just for the bridal party and my guest was kind of salty because they couldnt get any. But I also had a double layered cake with my wedding colors purple whipped cream frosting with orange designs and the smaller cake on top of that one was a cream whipped cream frosting with purple and orange polka dots. Lovely!!! Im gonna see if my Maid of Honor has those pictures, Ill post them later.

Some of the highlight of the night:

Panty Drop Game
Every guest has to bring a pair of brand new panties and drop em in a bag. I had to empty the bag in the middle of the floor andpick out my favorite pair. The person who brought the best pair wins a prize. Lets just say my favorite panties was purple, lace crotchless, booty out pair!! My cousin got a gag gift and bought a huge pair of panties and had BRIDE TO BE ironed on it, too funny, lol!! You cant tell them it's a game or they will make sure they get the best pair.

The gift bags for the winners was awesome. We had 5 'safe' bags which consist of candles, lotions and body spray. THEN we had 10 NAUGHTY bags that had toys, body lotion, handcuffs, liquor stashed in them...all the guest was hustling to get the naughty gifts for real!

Suck for a Buck
After the B Party we went out to the club. I had my Bachelorette Sash on with my tiarra, so the girls pinned all of these blow pops on my sash. I had to go up to guys and simply say, "Suck for a Buck" half of the guys were drunk and was like, WTH?!? Once they pulled out a buck I gave them a sucker, lol! Many men was giving me $5 and $20s AND women! Everyone was giving me marriage advice, wishing me luck, it was on point. I walked away with about $50 (see picture) I had my money tightly pinned on me too!

I was in awe of all the gifts that I got some 'safe' ones and some real naughty that I am taking with me to the Bahamas! I hope airport security dont get nosey because they'll have alot to see! I had plenty to drink that night from too many different cups. Of course I had a penis sipper and another glass and my own personalized wine glass. The girls martini glass was orange and it had 'Hot Mess' in glitter, lol! Man we had some fun!!!

We went to brunch the next morning, uh I mean late afternoon,once we woke up and everyone brought their glass to the brunch where we had a few mimosas, then ventured off to shopping looking for shoes for the bridesmaid and end up finding everything but shoes. Im always admiring my cousin for her jewlery so she bought me my wedding bracelet, earrings and watch, love it! I also posted a pciture of my dress thats already to hit it. I love that I found most of my outfits for our trip is on clearance since summer is over, shorts I found for like $2, summer dresses and swimming suits were like $1 amd 2 dollars, I love those sales!! I been partying since last week Thursday what a Wonderful weekend!!!

This weekend is the Bridesmaid Luncheon at my house. Im making shrimp and chicken alfredo with mushrooms and broccoli, garlic bread, salad, custom made Rum Chata cupcakes and Peach Sangria. This will be the time where Ill give the girls their gifts as well. This journey is almost at it's end and I got to say I have had a FREAKIN BLAST!!!!
15 MORE DAYS!!!!!

Ok here they are, done at last (Im on a roll, 32 days left!).

Each glass has the girl's title (Maid/Matron of Honor & Bridesmaid) with their Initial on the back. You probably can't see the titles because they are in orange and, of course my tissue paper is orange. Lastly, I got small wine charms for each glass, i think I paid about $4 for a total of 6. I bought the cocktail glass charms, so you have a martini glass, tropical glass, margarita, pins colada glass...I placed one on each of the glass stem. I got to put two on mines (lol!).

The charms basically symbolizes our time spent together... if our men is watching a game...we're drinking...if we're having a meeting...we're drinking...having a BBQ or a card game for Friday night fish fry, you guessed it, we're REALLY drinking.

I love my girls for real! Here's a lil history of each one:
-My Matron of Honor's husband and I grew up together so I've been knowing her for almost 18 years.
=My Maid of Honor is my ride or die chick, we've been getting into trouble sine the age of 15.
-My two bridesmaids are my fiance's first cousins...they're like his sisters and I love them to death. We ht it off really good when I first met them and there's nothing we won't do for one another.

So you can understand why we're always having a cocktail...or two or three, but hey, who's counting!


I got the Corset/Dress decal sticker design from Etsy $4 which came with a title. I even made a small glass for myself, nothing fancy just so the last glass wouldnt look so lonely.

Ok I finally had a day to complete my ladies gift bags. I have a Maid of Honor, Matron of Honor and 2 Bridesmaids.

Inside the bags includes:

Im having a luncheon for my girls the week after my bachelorette party so Im making shrimp and chicken alfredo, salad, breadsticks, custom-made cupcakes and wine (of course). We're all still trying to lose weight for the Bahamas but I figure they're worth a lil carbs, lol!

Lord knows we need a vacation BAD!!! You just dont know how good it's gonna feel to turn on my 'OUT OF OFFICE' for my emails and not do anything for EXACTLY 15 days!!! Me and my fiance have been working sooo hard for this destination wedding it's really exciting that the wait is almost over!

There's a reason why we were brought together during a certain time in our lives. I believe this man was brought into my life to love and protect me and to be my husband. We're stronger together than apart.

Ok I got the broom from Micheals about 2.50...calla lilies flower also from there 5.00. The Cowrie shells from eBay a bag for 1.50 and ribbon from walmart for like .50. I had to cut the broom since it will be traveliing in the suitcase and not with me on the plane.

Meaning Behind 'Jumping the Broom'
Everyone has their own meaning of jumping the broom, basically, it was during the time of slavery in America, slaves could not marry legally. Therefore, they created their own rituals to honor their unions; one of the rituals was the jumping the broom.
The broom is a symbol of sweeping away the old and welcoming the new--a new beginning. The leap that the couple takes over the broom represents the "leap of faith" they take when starting a new life together.

Most of the people in my family never had any rituals included in their ceremony, even if they had a ceremony at all most of the marriages were at the court house including my parents so I thought it would be beautiful to start a tradition on my own, bring prosperity and blessings in our marriage.

My short reception dress will compliment my reception heels, So I picked these cute rhinestone sandals to walk down the isle. I wish they came in orange or purple that would of been hawt! But these are cute just the way they are :).
