HELP! I can't decide between menus and I need to decide ASAP!
If you were a guest at our wedding which would you prefer??? Please do me a favour and read both. I really can't decide. Menu 1 is what we currently have, but it only has 1 meat which really bothers me. I chose it so we could have the chocolate fountain. Menu 2 is Greek (Yum). It has 2 meats, lamb skewers and chicken skewers.

MENU OPTION #1

Tableside:
assorted crusty breads with creamy butter

Buffet Dinner:
wild greens with strawberries, pine nuts, goat cheese
sweet pepper and wild rice pilaf
herb roasted potatoes
fricassee of summer vegetables
slow roasted chicken quarters

“Sweet Things”
Milk chocolate fountain with biscotti and summer fruit

MENU OPTION #2

Tableside:
spiced chevre on grape tomato and humus
pita bread

Buffet Dinner:
greek village salad
a salad of tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, sweet peppers and lettuce with feta
pasta salad of bacon, scallions, spring vegetable with a garlic pepper dressing
herb roasted potatoes
grilled chicken kabobs
grilled lamb skewers

“Sweet Things”:
strawberry lemon shortcake

Both menus have raspberry lemonade, organic coffee & organic tea

*Update: I asked to have a second meat put on the first menu but it would be $5-$8 more per person. Would menu 2 be better if I did a chocolate fountain with the Greek? That's only a bit more expensive!

i like menu option 1

however if you dislike the fact of only having one meat why not ask them to add an additional meat item onto your menu, they may charge you a little more but at least your not settling and your getting exactly what you want.

I think that menu #1 will satisfy more taste budes than menu #2!!! Plus a chocolate fountain!!! What more could you want!!!

I think you should ask about a second choice for meat on selction #1 and then you may like it better

That's a toughie! They both sound really good, but I think that myself and most of your guests would prefer the second with the chocolate fountain option.

i like the second option with the chocolate fountain...just ask them how much extra to put the chocolate fountain on it.

menu option 2 sounds really good!

Menu # 2!! Yummm... lamb... and the pasta salad sounds good! Substitute the shortcake for the fountain and just pay for the extra.  That's what I'm doing as well.  I opted for the menu with 2 meats (guests would have the option to choose between steak & salmon and steak & chicken), but I wouldn't get the fountain. Soo, I upgraded my late night sweet table for chocolate fountain! yumm!

I agree with MissLexy that #1 is more well rounded to satify everyone.  I for example don't like either feta or lamb. I know people who don't like feta or scallions etc.

Would adding the fountain to the greek put you out of your budget?

Either the #1 with the extra meat or #2 with Chocolate Fountaine....The CF is always a HIT!
