I have been very bad about picking a color. I set a date that I think is far enough away to get ever...

Bits and Peices of My Centerpieces
So there will be around 40 round guest tables indoors, and about 10 on the outdoor patio. The flowers (Pic #1) will be in a square glass vase. The ribbon (Pic #2) will be wraped around the vase. The crystal looking things (Pic #3&4) will be scattered around. The vase will set on a silver tray. Five small candles will surround the vase on the tray. On the outdoor patio tables, we will have the Tiki Torches (Pic #5) with the pink and green ribbon (#6) tied in a bow around them.

Wedding Hair Style
I want my hair like this... casual, loose, and half up. Exactly like this except add my headband.
The other pics are ones I took of my actual headband and earrings. The headband I got at The Rose Tree (where I bought my dress) and the earrings are just cheapies from The Flower Factory. I'm not absolutely positive about the earrings... I just wanted something simple and shiny!! |

Wedding Invitation
vistaprint.com -- 200 invites for under $120!
So... they have a promotion now where I could order 10 for free (gotta pay shipping)... so I decided to try it out... and I love them! They only have a few options to choose from, but my free sample invitations came in in just a few days. They aren't fancy, but then again neither am I.
I bought these christmas ornament hanger things at an after christmas sale at walmart for like a buck each. I had no clue what I was going to do with them.. but I thought the color was exactly what I wanted my wedding color to be. Well, I knew I was going to add ribbon to the invitations... but I figured I'd have to punch holes or slits or whatever. Turns out, these ornament hangers fit almost perfectly!!!! I'll probably have to add a dab of glue to keep them in place. Wow. I can't believe it worked out that great! I'm going to place my whole order tonight. Oh and I forgot to mention the price!!! 200 Invitations = $74 (with color back) 200 Matching Envelopes = $43 (3 bucks extra to get them without "vista print" logo) 200 Ornament Hangers - $4 GRAND TOTAL = $121 |

Honeymoon
We're Going to Jamaica, Mon!
I just booked our 6 night honeymoon to Sandal's Resort's Whitehouse in Jamaica!!!!!!!!!
This has by far been the most exciting part of the wedding planning... At first, we thought we wanted to go on a cruise. But our list of requirements for a honeymoon were: 1. No kids, 2. All inclusive, 3. Privacy, 4. Lots of stuff to do. So since there are children on cruises, drinks aren't usually included, and you usually are seated at meals with other couples... we ruled that out. I highly recommend EVERYONE getting on tripadvisor.com before booking any honeymoon. You get to read what other REAL people say about each vacation spot, and you can view actual photos (they might look a little different from the photoshopped resort pics!). A great thing about Sandal's Whitehouse is that every room is beachfront. The room we booked is on the first floor, it has a patio and you step straight onto the beach... I CAN'T WAIT!! My second and third peice of advice is book with a travel agent (saves alot of stress) AND be sure to get trip insurance! In case you are interested, 6 nights + flight + trip insurance came to $3,500. We had to pay 20% down to our agent and we will be making monthly payments until 40 days before the wedding. If you live close to a bit airport, you might get a little better deal than me, because I live in the middle of nowhere. Well... hope that helps someone out there... remember 1. travel agent/trip insurance trip insurance, 2. check tripadvisor.com first. Good luck! |

Bridesmaids
Jewelry and Shoes... HELP!
I'm not sure yet... but it has to dress up their dresses, because I ended up with a much fancier wedding dress than I had intended on....
Any suggestions? Also... should their shoes match the dress... or be pearl/ivory or gold? |

Bridesmaids
Dresses and Beautiful Ladies...
I fell in love with these. They are Jasmine Bridal, B2 collection. Love them! They will be in the green, of course, but the green pic isnt' very accurate to the color. Same shade, just lighter. The third pic is of my beautiful bridesmaids... The first girl is my sister and my MOH. The second girl is Nick's sister. The third and fourth are my best friends and were my college roommates. Then the last picture is of my Junior Bridesmaid. She will be 10 at the time, and she will be wearing the same style dress.

The Proposal
On the morning of my birthday... we went on a hike up to "Raven Rock", an scenic overlook that has a great view of the Ohio River and his old high school, where WE FIRST MET, at a football game. We were sitting with our legs hanging over the edge, talking about how our relationship, and about all the great times we've had in the 3 years we've been together.... I looked away, then looked back and he was holding the ring and he asked the big question. I said yes, of course...
