Wedding Was Perfect
Yesterday was the big day and it turned out to be a beautiful wedding. The colors looked so amazing. The guys tuxedos really looked nice. I am so happy that it was sunny and cool. The wind was a lil hard but nothing we couldn't handle. I am now officially Mrs. Gerald Damitric Woods. I love him so much.

Rain Rain Go Away...
Come Back After Saturday
So it has been raining here in Manassas all day long. Scheduled to rain all day tomm too. I just hope the weatherman is right and Saturday is sunny and 66-70*. I am getting nervous considering my wedding is days away it has been rainy and cold in this area. Hopefully the sun comes out bright on Friday and dries it all up. The ceremony is outside and we have to walk across grass to get to the gazebo. Hoping my heels don't sink in the mud.

SOON TO BE "MRS. WOODS"
OMG woke up this morning with a sore throat. Hope it goes away. Can't afford to be sick on my wedding day. God is testing my faith in HIM. I am still standing strong though. And I still have FAITH in HIM. Cannot believe I am getting married this week...That's right THIS week. Seems like only yesterday I was saying it was next month. Time sure does fly. Hopefully it won't go by as fast after the wedding. I wanna enjoy the time with my new HUSBAND.

My sister Shannon came to town last week for the wedding. SO excited that she decided to come. We had gotten into an argument last lear and haven't really been talking ever since. We said our apologies to one another and she is coming. That is such a blessing. My other sister got into some trouble and will be in jail the day of my wedding. Not looking to that @ all. She will be missed. But I have to keep strong because if I break down I will be even more stressed than I already am. Can't have that.

So there is only 10 days left before the big day. I am getting so excited and nervous @ the same time. I have broken out in hives and everything. Hopefully I don't break out the day of. It has been very cold around here. I hope it warms up within the next week or so. We may have to toast with hot chocolate instead of champagne.

Changing The Colors...AGAIN
Okay so we have decided to go with only 2 colors for the bridesmaids dresses. We are only going to have apple and truffle. We will have the persimmon color in the centerpieces, bouquets and other decor. Just not in the dresses. We went to order the persimmon colored dress from David's Bridal and they said they would not come in til Oct 4th. That is cutting it way too close. I am gonna have plenty to stress me out a week before the wedding without worrying about whether or not the dresses come in on time and in the right size. I think I made the right choice. Even though I love the persimmon color. It will still all come together nicely in the end. There will still be a lot of orange in other portions of the decor. What do you think?

Bad Girls...
Matching Tattoos?
Yeah so me, my sis, and my BFF Bianca all went and got matching tattoos last night. Spare of the moment type thing. I saw the picture, liked it and suggest we get the tattoos. A few hours later we were tatted up. Lol. They are super cute. The devil heart from the "Bad Girls Club". On our right wrist. Love it.

Changing The Colors...
Okay so the new colors that I am going with for the bridesmaids is apple, cocoa, and persimmon. The tangerine was just too bright for fall and the wine color was too close to the cocoa. These 3 colors look really good together. I think the pictures will look amazing with these colors to enhance them.

My good friend Bianca is going to be my Maid Of Honor. I met her about 4 or 5 years ago when I worked @ AHC in Manassas VA. We have remained friends even though neither of us work there anymore. Her little girl is actually my flower girl too. We have become very close over the past few years. We would do anything for one another. I can count on her to be there for me on my special day. The most important day of my life. I know she is a perfect fit. She was really excited when I asked her to be my MOH. That shows that she really wanted the job. Lol.

Engagement Photos...Just a select few.
So like I said before my friend Sarah just started taking pics professionally. It has been a hobby of hers forever and now she has decided to take it to the next level. She took our engagement pics @ Manassas Battlefield a few months ago. The scenery was beautiful. The wind was blowing very hard that day so if my eyes look closed a lil that is why. They did turn out really good. I was impressed. I am not the type of person that likes having her picture taken. But it makes it easier if you know the person taking them. Sarah you ROCK.

So my friend Sarah has started taking pics to the next level. She is a professional photographer now. She took our engagement pics and they turned out nice. So I have decided that I am gonna go with her to do the wedding pics as well. She will take pics @ the ceremony itself and then when we come into the reception hall. For the reception itself I am going to put out disposable cameras on all the tables and have the guest go WILD with it. I'm excited on what I will find. It should be fun.

I am already having so much fun planning my "Autumn Wedding". I love the bright colors in the fall and can't wait to incorporate them in the ceremony. From attire and decorations to flowers and invitations. Everything will be orange, yellow, brown, sage, and burgundy.
