This is navylover's Orange Wedding!

These are a couple of us getting ready and the table and cake..ill have the professonal pics up as soon as i get them.

Rehersal was a blast we didnt get to do rehersal till like 7 because of the earthquake had seperated the two glass plains in the cealing so the coordinator had construction working on all day to make sure it was fixed for the wedding. I cant even begin to thank allt he girls they are my best friends and will be for the rest of our lives. I hope all the future brides have fun. Having fun at the rehersal helps relive alot of stress.

So we pulled ino town last night...everything good we met with the DJ and put finishing touches on that. I had my alarm set for 7:30 so i can get up and get ready to go get my nails done. And about 6:30 me and bobby woke up to the walls shaking and the bed shakinga nd tv kinda felt like someone was trying to tip over the house. GO FIGURE wells witch is about 20 minutes from where we are had a 6.3 earthquake.Crazy huh..everyone is fine..just a little shook up and kinda excited nothing big happens in elko anymore....so excitment for my wedding week.

So yesteday we Finally went and pick up the gifts for everyone.

Bridesmaids-
Are getting glass coasters that are clear that say live laugh and love on them and i will print picxture of there familys and kids and instert the picture into the coasters and will wrapp them up.

Grooms Men-
They are all his brothers and his dad. HIs family and him with me of course are all avid nascar fans so we bought them the new 2008 pit crew hats for their favorite drivers.

HIs mom-
My savor who has helped me so much you couldnt even imagine. She collects this crystal figuers from a jewelery store calle Blohms jewlers so we will be picking that up when we get into elko. Id like to get her a couple but they run about 100-150 for one. So probably will only be having one.

My Mom-
WHo has helped out the best she can she is a full time student at the Uof O and doesnt live in elko,but has done everything she can to help. SHe needs a new printer hers sucks and prints liek crap so we bought a faster printer.scanner that uses less ink and print higher quality. and a crystal wine glass that has designs painted on them that she has wanted.

Flower girl and ring boy- STILL HAVE NO CLUE THEY HAVE ENOUGH TOYS SO ILL THINK OF SOMETHING.

put everything that needs to be packed by the door--wedding dress,gifts,toasting glasses,rings etc.

GO TANNING last time to tan before the day.

WATCH ONE TREE HILL (im addicted have been for years..so sad)

Service truck -fill up with gas also

Dog food and bowls for our puppy boscoe (might as well be my child..I mean he is in our engagment photos.lol)

Pack just our regualar clothes..watch it will be like 9 oclock and i will still havent packed our bags.

Ok so its four days till the wedding. Im sitting at work and i have no brain. Its werid feeling no matter how hard i try to just relax everything zooms through my head well do we have this is the truck serviced for the drive. Do the girls have there dresses are they sized. Will his present make it before the wedding. I need to call the pastor and call the DJ and the location and the food manger make sure everything ready. MAke sure my flowers arrive on thursday. Its amazing. Its my last day of work 1hour and 5 minutes left. tomorrow i will be packing up with truck with everything making sure we have everything rings and glasses and bridesmaids gifts etc. Wed morning we will head make the 13 hour drive to our home town of Elko,Nevada to have our wedding and see all our family friends for 2 weeks. then its back up to everett,wa where we will have 2 weeks as newleyweds and he takes off for a 8 month deployment with the Abrham Lincoln. Gotta love the navy. So when we get back ill plenty of time to post pictures of the actual wedding. Because we all know that no matter how hard you try to describe it nothing does justice as the real thing. SO advice for all brides as its gets down to the wire or week of your wedding. No matter how hard you try to relax your brain is gonna feel huge because you cant help but think of things to make your day perfect. So take it as it is and if something happens on your wedding day just accept dont get mad. it will just ruin your wedding and they happy day. Just kinda laugh at everything.

THe back drop for the alter will be like this but it will have pink and orange fabric. and instead of just 2 columns there will be 4 all with flower arangment on them.

I found a lady who gave me a great price at very short notice since the other person who was supposed to do them is well needless to say no longer welcome by the family. Her name is Sharon Attaway with Attways images in Elko,NV these are samples of her work. The picture of all the guys in black and white is what made me decide that she is the one i want and the best part is where this pics were taken is right outside where our wedding will be. I cant thank her enough 600 bucks and we get 50 edit images and a leather bound album and a 4x6 of every photo she takes for about 5 hours. She normally charges like 1900 for her wedding package. But because of last minute plans she is willing to do it a super discounted rate. I CAN NOT EVEN BEGIN TO THANK HER ENOUGH.

We are going to do a unity sand instead of candle and the sand colors are going to be Pink and blue because he wants blue since it will be around longer than the actually ceremony. I fell in love with this unity sand set and knew i had to have its about 70 bucks but worth it.

So i was searching ebay thank to the comment about ebay and cheaper prices. But i came across this its a unity sandframe kit and absoulty wonderful for like 49 buck and its the whole set you get to choose your wood he has all sorts of would to choose from. its a really cool idea.

so update agian i went ahead and order the picture frame sand kit and not the heart one and i got it at sandframes.com and the couple who do them are wonderful and really do anything to make sure you get what you want and when you need it. anyone who is looking for something unquie and different that will make everyone go how cool this is it. it cost with shipping like 61 bucks and you get the sand and the two contianer the cone and the stopper to plug the sand and the frame ofcourse.

The table decor is how the tables are gonna look with the orange and red criss-crossed in the middle of the table and instead of the flower in the middle it will be 3 vovtives that have our date and names engraved with Pink and orange nonsencted tealight candles that i found online. And then there will be rose pedals kinda placed around the voltives.

The part of the ring shown is the engagment part and then the wedding band is three diamons that kinda sit on each side of the big diamond and the band connects so i dont have to get them put together. And his band is kinda like this picture only it doesnt have the indents on it and the inside it solid so it a comfort band.

This is the bridesmaids dresses the maid of honor is long and they are gonna be in white and have a a colored sash around their waist that hangs down to give it color. I wanted something the girls could wear agian and could dress up or down easily.

I want my hair to look like the frist picture but i dont want my veil on top of my head im not a big fan of things on my head so i am gonna have it hang of the back of my head some how kinda like the second picture.

My cake is going to be a mixture of he two cakes BObby likes the round cake and i like the square cake. So we are gonna have the round cake with the swirlys on it and take off the pearl thing on the top of each layer and had the ribbon but alternate the color ribbon to orange and pink and use the orange and pink roses and the toppper is our monogram in pink and orange rihnestones. its only costing us like $214 at smiths grocery store. So excited its gonna be a marbled cke with a light strawberry filling.

these are my flowers and the cala lilies will be in it along with some green to make it a little bigger and different AND THE bridesmaids will have orange and pink geber daisys with babys breath in them and i thnk a couple roses but not sure my fiance mom is a florist so i told the flowers and color and we came up with an idea but i told her do what you think would work i have trust in her.
