Bridal Shower
Had so much fun!
Unfortunately the pics are saving fuzzy from Shutterfly so I can't show all of the decorations, cake, and my 20 wonderful friends and family. You can see from my previous post that I ended up buying the top! I recieved a lot of compliments on it and "How did you match your outfit to your wedding theme?!!"
Anyhow my MoH and her daugther flew in from LA to organize and host my shower.she did an awesome job!!! Thanks YO! I couldn't have asked for a better MoH! Only 3 weeks away! |

Bridal Shower Outfit
White/Black top with pink sash
I saw this top at the mall in the window last night and couldn't believe it...It is the perfect top to wear for my bridal shower!!! It totally goes with my black/white damask with hot pink theme!
I was school shopping for my son's so I couldn't stop to try it on. It is a little pricy for a top in my opinion ($88) but I think it would be worth it considering the occasion. I like the pink shoes to go with it as well, although I think I have a pair of pink shoes in my closet that might work. |

Wedding Decoration
WHY can't my budget be UNLIMITED??
I love the look of these for centerpieces, however they are $45 for a set of 3 so I will only have 1 set on my sign in table. The table center pieces are just floating flowers in a flat bowl surrounded by votive candles.

Going for my trial hair and make up
I have always known that I want my hair as an updo but I want soft curls like the pics that I have listed and not the traditional slicked back tight look. I so LOVE Alyssa's head band but I found the website and all of the pieces are handmade to order and they do not list the prices so I assume they are quite pricy. I have pretty swaroski cyrstal combs that I bought from a kiosk in the mall that I want going around the front like the other girl's hair. What do you all think?

Black dress with Pink Shoes
Black Bridesmaids dresses were not my first choice, but I was trying to be considerate to my girls. Although not sure if they will wear these dresses again but after trying many different styles and colors in both pink and black I decided to go with this combo.I admit I loved the way the dress fit on ME but not sure how it will look on my girls since they all live all over the country. What do you think?

Anyone else getting married on September 11th?
We are getting married on 9/11. A co-worker told me her daughter was married on 9/11 last time it was on a Saturday and got some really good deals. We couldn't get married in July due to another famiy wedding, couldn't get married in August because my sister is getting married, my birthday is September 26 and we didn't want to get married on Labor day weekend so 9/11 was a logical choice....
