Alice in Wonderland Wedding Shower
Got my dress!
I got my dress today for my AIW/Tea Party shower. It was less than 10 dollars!!!!! Not your typical AIW dress but I'd say a more modern version. I think I am going to wear black pumps and a black headband with it! So excited!

I got both the shoes and purse at forever 21 for under 20 dollars!!! I was super excited! I knew I wanted blue shoes but the color is perfect because its actually one of our accent colors!!!

Some Black/White/Damask DIY's
1.I had the photo share cards made at 123print.com!
2. I made a Mr sign for the hubby too. I think that I am going to hang a ribbon on the back and then drape it over the front of the head table. 3.The "thoughts on kissing" poem is our substitue for the clinking glass. Istead of people clinking their glass to get us to kiss they have to sing a couple of lines from a song with the word "love" in it. They can sing as a group, a table, alone, whatever! |

My moh who is my little sister is having an Alica in Wonderland/Mad Hatter/Tea Party themed shower for me! I am super excited! Has anyone else done this. If so, do you have any pictures? Would you be willing to share any of your ideas? I have aleady seen some of the ideas by searching google but I wanted to see if anyone on here and any different ideas!

I got my invitation mock-up back today!!! Eeeeeks! I just have to figure out the wording and then we will order them in the next few weeks!
A girl I work with got her degree in graphic design and she made these for me. I gave her a general idea of what I wanted and this is what she came up with! I squeeled when I first saw them!!!!! :) |

What "theme" do you have planned for your bachelorette party
Hey ladies. So I have been in charge of throwing three bachelorette parties and all three had themes. We did and 80s, a wiggin out because Jodi is getting married (we all wore crazy and rediculous wigs), and a lifestyles of the rich and famous (boas and big sunglasses). My bachelorette party is in vegas for 4 days and we want to do a theme for one night. My little sis is planning but asked for my input on a theme and none of us can think of one. Any ideas? Anyone else do a theme?

Eeeks! I have been collecting frames of all different patterns to display throughout my reception. This is probably 1/4 of what I have....horrible I know! The bronze colored one will be spray painted black!
The M is for our cake topper. I got it in the knicknacks section at hobby lobby for 8 dollars. It was love at first sight! I also got the candleabra votives at hobby lobby. I will either use these on the cake table or the head table...not sure yet! |

DIY Wedding
The votives were 1 of my first DIY projects. I have a damask template that I printed of off and stuck on with double sided tape (the one on the right) and the other one is a rub-on I got from walmart.
I bought the letters at Michaels, painted them white, and used the same rub-on from Walmart. I am going to attach black ribbon to the back and hang these from the doors of our ceremony/reception hall The little cupcake flags aren't quite finished. I need to attach my little "love quotes" to them before the big day! |
