This is nelle15's Red Wedding!

So I've been away for 9 month on my website, and WOW has a lot of stuff happened! So my dress is pictured. Like it? It's going to be an outdoor wedding so I think it matches nicely.

One last thing to say for now... I HOPE I GET EVERYTHING DONE ON TIME!

So I went shopping this past week with some friends and family for a gown, and I tried on all the styles that I thought I liked but I ended up not liking the look on me at all. So I went with something completely different...and I LOVED it. The dress pictured is my dress. I knew it before she even got it on me. I told her "get me in that dress" and when it was on, everyone's faces lit up.

And then she told me how much it was. It was 150% of what I wanted to spend. Why did they make me fill out a sheet that asks my price range if they are not even going to look at it?? And it was like the 5th dress I tried on...so I know there were more dresses in my price range. I'm thinking about calling the store and giving them a piece of my mind! Isn't that rule #1 for consultants?

So I'm going shopping this weekend again, but I just know I'll be comparing all dresses to this one :(

Soooo I LOVE this dress...only problem is I have no idea who carries it or where it came from. I found it a year ago online and I really can't get it out of my head! Anyone have any ideas as to who has this dress? Thanks ladies!

Wow...it's been forever since I've been on here!

Well I found a $199 dress...and I figured I just had to buy it at the time since it was on consignment. It's the very first wedding dress I have ever tried on but I really love it! It was originally over $1000!

I'm going to go look at more dresses in the next month or so, but it's going to be hard to beat this price and the fit and the perfectness of this dress!

So my future Mother-In-Law wants me use her bouquet, which I think is an awesome idea. The problem is that it's outdated and smaller than I was hoping. It has some of the colors in it that I want to use, but it still doesn't seem to match everything else that I have in mind for decorations.

Anyone have any ideas how I can spice the bouquet up a little bit without altering it too much?
I would like to pull the red out of it as much as I can..and maybe make it bigger?

Well, everyone is on board and excited for this wedding besides my parents :) But I think they will come around. At least they have 24 months to come around...

But I have a question for you gals. What kind of budget did everyone have? As in for seperate things, like the dresses, the flowers, the food, etc.

Soo..I have a bunch of dresses here that I like...which are all generally the same. I would like to know what you all think! I am 6 foot tall so keep that one in mind :) And I think I will be keeping my hair down, or at least half down. Oh and either the wedding or the reception will be outside.Thanks ladies!

So we were at his grandparents, who are probably some of the greatest people I have ever met. His grandmother has cancer, so we don't really know how much time she has left, so this was an extra special visit. Well Dave's grandparents informed him that they were going to give him all of the change they had been collecting for thirty years. Which came out to be over $2,000. If that wasn't overwhelming enough, I sit down on the couch and he is looking at me all weird, and then he just pops the question! He said he had been wanting to ask for a while, he just was saving up money for a ring. At first I thought he was just playing around...but nope the very next day we went and got a ring! :) The second that he asked me, I just started bawling. I had no control over it whatsoever. His parents and brother were also there so I really lost it when they all started saying how happy they were and giving me hugs and all that. We have been dating for almost and year and a half now, and this just feels so right. I'm worried about telling my parents though. They seem to have a hard time accepting Dave. He's a fantastic guy who fits in with our family so well, but my sister got burned pretty bad by a guy she was dating for 4 years so I think they just don't really trust guys in general. I hope when I tell them (this week) that they will just be happy for me. As soon as we told Dave's mom she instantly started helping me plan what we were going to do. She gave me her bouquet that she had at her wedding and even her diamonds that was used on her ring. I kind of feel silly for planning everything so early, but I just can't help it! It's too much fun!
