NWR - NETTER checking In - Baby update - NETTER's Pink Wedding by Color Blog

Hello friends!!

I have missed my WBC friends!! I still check in regularly on my fav brides.. but its weird how since the wedding I hardly find time to be on here, especially since before the wedding I didnt go 20 minutes without browsing WBC lol.

I just thought I would give a quick update for my friends that have been asking about Baby Jenkins and I.

Brett and I went on Oct 13th < my 30th birthday :) > for an ultrasound to check on Baby J's health and size and we found out...

ITS A BOY!!!! :) :) <3

We are so happy!! Although I know a lot of moms would rather not know the sex until the baby arrives, for me it is suuuuuuuch a relief to finally know!! I am in full nursery planning mode now :)

Anyways!! just wanted to say hi :) Hope all is well with you guys - I look forward to hearing from all of you - for my brides that got married this summer I would love an update on how you have all been since the wedding too!!!

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!!!! I have to do a better job at keeping track of you ppl lol. So glad to read this update and CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Lil boys rock, my nephew just makes the sun shine brighter, he is sooo fun, playful and plain AWESOME, as I know your lil guy will be too! YAY! Congrats lovely!!!

Thanks Tash!!! We had been thinking for about 2 months that it was going to be a boy so neither of us were surprised when we saw the proof lol!! I am heading to NB on holiday tonight after work and my family is throwing us a baby shower on Sunday!! SO EXCITED!!!!!

Oh.. and thank you for the birthday wishes! I had always dreaed 30..but it turned out that this year was the one year I didn't mind aging lol.

Can I just say how much I wish they had a BabyByColor site too?? hahahah Brett says i plan the nursery the same as I planned the wedding. .except I have no where to share all my ideas and get feedback this time!

Hey honey, I am thinking of starting a blog on my own, for randomness.. maybe you should too, for babies and everything and anything else you have to say? LOL I will gladly give you feedback. :) There has to be mommy blog sites somewhere too though lol.

The big 3-0 huh? You do not look like it. And don't worry, I'm 33, and I went to the dr. this week and she spent like 15 mins telling me to try for babies soon or else my eggs would get too old... talk about bad aging moment LMAO!

There is a site that I used when I was pregnant with my two youngest. It isn't a blogging site but it is amazing for information. There are chat forums too (I didn't use them though) I told another friend about it and she used the chat forums. She got to be friends wth alot of the other mommys and actually made alot of friends with babies the same age. Just this past summer her and a few of the girls she met on there took the kids for a day to the beach or something like that.
Have a look at it, if nothing else it's a great information tool.

It updates you on what to expect each week of your pregnancy as well as after the baby is born and then after the baby is 2 yrs old it gives sends you monthly updates. I loved it :)

Tash- LOL your dr DID NOT say that!! did you punch her in the face?? lol

My Maid of honour kept telling me that my eggs were drying up lol and my lovely mother told me that she thought I was so sick during the first 4 months because I was old .lol. everyone else in my family had their babies before 25.

I am thinking of starting a blog too.. I think it would be good for my family back in NB to be able to check in on the little progress and picture of the baby..

soconfused: Thanks Hun! I actually use babycentre already - I think I replaced my WBC obsession with babycentre lol. You are right they have a ton of great info. I havent gotten involved with any of the chats yet though.

I didn't lol, I was actually quite amused and called Mark and told him and he laughed too lolol. He used it to convince me we should try right away lolol.

I have an old blog that I havent used in forever. I might clean it up and start recording this little journey. I will send you the link once i start. And you tell me once you start your blog too!

Nope, that would be me lol. And I only wanna wait till we go on a honeymoon, and also, ideally until we live in the same city LOL. I don't wanna waddle around on my own, but I know alot of strong women who have done this... so now I'm kinda thinking, K, let's take a honeymoon already and then I will be fine :)
