Guest Book Alternative
Shake it like a Polaroid picture!

A friend of mine was at a wedding recently and filled me in on this awesome idea. The couple had a friend sitting at the entrance of the reception hall (where the guestbook would be) and she took a polaroid photo of each couple as they came into the wedding. Then the couples signed their photo and the bride now has an album of all the guests at their wedding! What a wicked idea! I think we're totally going to do it!

Has anyone else ever seen/done this?

Yep! I love this idea, but polaroids are going out of business, so the film is SUPER expensive! So are polaroid cameras!

We are doing this also but with digital, and we have a photo printer setup...this is better in the long run anyways, cause polaroids fade, and you can't tell if u have taken a good picture without wasting the film....so much more cost friendly.

I'm doing the same thing. There's a kit available online that comes with a polaroid guest book, polaroid camera and 4 boxes of film for about $169. Check out my blog for the link if you're interested! :)

I am also doing a similar concept....except mine will be on a digital camera and I made a scrapbook guestbook with a picture frame to the outside of the page and 4 lines next to the picture and I will place the picture next to the lines after they are developed!!

Bought the two camera(s) and the polaroid film (200) but as the wedding planner pointed out will make the guest book and the front entrance a nightmare.

Expensive lesson we will not be using.
