Anyone taking dance classes?

My FH and I thought about signing up for Authur Murray, but I heard the lessons are very expensive.

I was just wondering if anyone is taking dance lessons for you first dance, and if so, what company and price range is it?

Also, please share with me your first dance songs. i cant believe I only have a few more months left!

WE are deffinately taking lessons, I love my man but he CANNOT dance! and I refuse to be the couple who hold each other for 3&1/2 mins and just go round in a circle,
Check out community centres, here in town they have lessons for pretty cheep, $60.00 each from Jan. to march then if you like them you resign up for the next level....

We're not doing dance lessons.  I wouldn't mind doing them but I don't feel its necessary for us.  We're okay with being the couple holding each other for 3.5 minutes LOL :)

i thought it might be nice, but FH said he wouldn't do it even if i killed him.  i guess that's a no.

we started taking swing dance lessons back in september. it's $10 a lesson and the classes are drop-in so if we miss a week its ok, which is great for our crazy schedules. in only 5 classes we've both gotten soooo much better!

I think we will! We watch the dance shows on TV and mess about in the living room! I think it would be fun and will bring us closer. even if we dont do it at our wedding. We are thinking of doing something crazy that will surprise our families and be alot of fun. Still on the cards!

I think you should go for it! It will be fun regardless! Dont put pressure on yourselves to be professional level by the wedding! Dancing also gives you confidence. DO IT DO IT DO IT!!!!!!!!
