whewwww It's all over

It was a lot of work and a whole lot didnt turn out the way I wanted but the important thing is that we got married surrounded by family and friends and we had a good time. We bought a 4 bedroom house a month after we got married and we are happy.
Remember.....it is not just about having a perfect wedding day...that will eventually fade to a memory. You and your significant other have to be a team and although you may not agree on everything, make sure you have good communication with your partner in everything you do. Agree to disagree and don't hold a grudge or go to sleep angry. Congrats to all the brides to be AND to the ones who have already jumped the broom! |

Is anybody else having problems making things come together?
I have been planning for a while but money is just not flowing like it should and I am running out of time. My parents are both deceased and I have no one to help with the financial part of it but us two. I feel dissappointed and frustrated. I really dont want a cheap looking wedding but we may end up with some last minutes stuff. All I have done is put the deposit down on my reception hall and I have "found" my wedding dress but it is 900 dollars, so off I go to find a cheaper dress. WISH ME LUCK! We have sooooo many people in our families that there will be well around 200-250 people there. The food is not the problem.....everything else is...UGHHHH I want to scream. |

Wedding Rings And Jewelry
We finally found our rings!!
THIS IS NOT MY ACTUAL RING but we went shopping (just the 2 of us for a change) about two weeks ago and we found rings that we both liked. It was hard because he has very different taste than I do and he wanted our rings to be a set. I dont like the department store rings like (Zales, etc). I am a borderline gawdy type person but I am not bougie....lol We looked for about 2 hours and every time I found one I liked...he could not find one that matched my ring and vice versa. Well we were both tired and frustrated since we could not agree on the rings. The very last place we looked at on the way out the door was the jackpot. We could get both rings for under 1500.00 which was exactly what we wanted to end up paying.,,,,and if we pay in cash they will be less than that.......Yeaaaaaa!! I will have pics soon.
