QUESTION: what are you doing for the dances?
my dad passed away a few years ago so I want to omit the mother son / father daughter dances all together to save the awkwardness... however i don't want to offend his mom because he'll be the first one of her sons to get married and I'm pretty sure it's something she's looking forward to. Anyone in the same boat as me??

I think you should still let the hubb and mama dance together and maybe you could dance with your mama or someone special/close to you??

I am sorry about your father...that must be very hard for you...if I were in that situation I would dance with my grandpa....Every young woman has to love there grandpa....or like scheri and debbiev said if you have a brother, or uncle....someone close to you!!!!

Um... This is so hard! I'm not actually that close with any of my brothers... unfortunately... and I've lost both my grandpas in the last couple years too....... and no uncles.... I have an aunt and that's it... this is driving me crazy.
