Wedding Dress
I'm so incredibly picky and I had so much trouble finding a dress for my grad I had no idea if I'd ever find the dress I wanted for my wedding!

But I did!! This is the dress I've been looking for! I think it's absolutely gorgeous the only potential problem is that I found it on EBAY. a knoff off pronovias.... yikes.

So i messaged a girl that i noticed purchased a dress from the vendor and she said that She ordered 2 dresses... One was the right one but the other wasn't! The vendor has a 99% positivity rating but I'm still nervous. How it works is you send them you're measurements and they sew the dress accordingly... The dress is only $250 so I think I'll go for it.

I'll just send my measurments with 2 inches or so to spare... that way I won't accidently get a dress that's too small! Then I'll have it fitted by someone i know.

UPDATE:

I decided I didn't want a knock off.... and have found another dress that I think is gorgeous!: see other post!

If the dress is from an asian country...DO NOT ORDER IT!!!! My friend did the same thing and ordered a dress from ebay and well she just basically threw it away since it looked like crap the stiching was aweful and things were out of place... I would not recomend it if I were you!!!

First I would find out who is the designer of the dress and find out the current retail price. Go to salon and try the dress on.

Then check the ebay seller and well...thats where my advice ends.

I would be to scared to order my dress online without a try on first.  Cause well what I thought I wanted and what I looked fantastic in are very different.  I even ended up with (2) dresses one for pictures and ceremony and the other for reception.

I guess you couldn't send it back.... I'm not sure what I would do. The dress is SOOOOO PRETTY! But you may be flushing $250 down the drain. If this is just a girl who ordered two dresses, then why is she getting it altered for you... it just seems a little odd.  I don't know! It's so pretty! Ok sorry I know I didn't help :)

I am one of those lucky few who ordered 2 wedding dresses from Ebay and both are perfect. BUT!! My main wedding dress was actually ordered from an authorised Alfred Angelo dealer who happens to sell dresses on Ebay as well. I checked her with AA and they verified she WAS selling authentic dresses. So after that I wasn't worried at all and saved $$$$.
My second dress was more of a gamble. It IS from a Chinese Seller and it's perfect. However, it is not an elaborate gown, just a light chiffon dress which is not difficult to make ergo they can't mess it up too much. While checking their feedbacks I did notice that the more complicated gowns (like yours) didn't really turn out too well and buyers were upset. If they state NO REFUND in their listing I say stay clear of them. The last thing you want is look less than perfect on your wedding day or lose your money. Good luck!!
