This is nicosfiance's Green Wedding!

So I dont want the typical white brides shoes. I want silver ones I dont know how they would go with my dress if they dont then i'll find some that will. lol

So my bridesmaids are my lil sister Stephanie (12), My sister in law Shorty (18), and my sister in law Nanny (17). My maid of Honor is my cousin Tiffany (20). I love these girls to death. They mean the most to me.
Im glad they have my back thru everything.
So im pretty sure their dresses are going to be Green cuz thats my main color. So I have these dresses that i found that I love. I want them to be able to wear them again I hate typical bridesmaid dresses I think they are sooo ugly so I found these ones by Bari Jay.

I love these dresses the first one I really love the second one well is my runner up.
What do you ladies think?

We finally found our spot. Im so excited I was getting so frustrated looking for the place and then the money issues. I cant believe how expensive this s^%$ is lol. Anywho we are having it at a banquet center the ceremony will take place there as well. I love the place its nice yet simple. The thing that is most important to us is that our family is there to CELEBRATE and enjoy this special moment with us. We want everyone to have a good time nothing fancy just FUN. Now trust me when I say this place is cheap but simply perfect. We get the food,dj, flowers, bar, dance floor, cake, ceremony, drinks for the toast, and a seperate lounge room all for 3,500. Yea im excited!!! I love it and now I can spend more money on my dress but most of all our HONEY MOON haha GET EM!!

So we ended up deciding to have our wedding in the Los Angeles area. I decided a destination wedding was too complicated and I didn't want to deal with it. So our place is undecided. We have a very promising caterer and we will be going tasting soon im so excited.I know we are doing things a little backwards lol. I also decided to change my color green is still the base color though but instead of Chocolate brown im doing a spring orange and a spring purple. LOVE IT!!!

Soooo I am now stuck between deciding the location of Las Vegas or Bajamar in Ensenada, Mexico. I was stuck on Vegas but I love the location of Bajamar its beautiful. Now the pros and cons of both places.
-Las Vegas-Sunset Gardens is the location
1. My ex lives out there and insists on attending [i dont mind but my fiance will have a fit]
2. The prices per plate for the reception are priced high
3. Location venues besides the typical cheesy chapels

1. I have found a nive venue that is all inclusive
2. everyone will have fun


-Ensenada Mexico-Bajamar gold resort is the location
1. People having to cross the border to get to our location
2. People getting lost

1. Prices per plate are cheap and within our budget
2. Beautiful venue and view overlooking the ocean
3. Fiances father has tons of hook-ups so our budget will definately be met
4. I LOVE Ensenada
5. Fiance has alot of family who used to live there so we can do tons of sightseeing
6. The natural mexican setting is gorgeous

So with all this I need help deciding ALL SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME

So I know i'm going to do our invitations on postcards. Neat huh. They are gonna say something like Come Get Lucky at Ally and Nico's Wedding. I think it's a good idea since postcards are so much cheaper than Invitations and plus since our wedding is basically a getaway wedding. Sooo with that aside I will be sending them out in about 3-4 months. Well I got one money saving tip down hopefully my budget will stick with everything else.

WoW! I cannot believe how insane it is to plan a wedding. First off Our colors we finally decided on Chocolate Brown And Lime green with accents of Crisp White. I have some pics of what it would look like. Our budget is set for a low 10,000 but I am determined to make it work. We have so far about 80 guests and that is our A list. We are planning the event in Las Vegas because we have a lot of family who love to gamble. I also think it would be a fun environment but the packages for some of the Hotels are insanely priced. My biggest problem is the reception which would cost us over the budget if hosted by the hotels. Sooooo with all this I am a little stressed can you believe that my wedding is 13 months away and I am already stressing... Normal?? or not so normal? Now I am told that booking a ceremony/reception site a year in advance is the best way to make sure you actually retain that spot. I need extreme help so anyone who knows of budget including decorating would be so greatly appreciated. Also if anyone has had a wedding in Vegas please if I can get some pointers also greatly appreciated.
