DIY Wedding
My "getting ready" champagne glass

Decided to use some of my leftover Swarovski crystals and make myself a "bride" champagne flute for the getting ready stage! The bottom is all swarovski crystals and the "bride" is a pre-made piece from Michaels. I buy my Swarovski flat back crystals from ebay and attach them with glass and bead glue from Michaels :)

Okay.. I'm for sure being a copy cat Nidhal!!! soooo cute!  I have a ton of the michaels decals left over and wasn't sure what to do with them.. not only am I making this for me.. i'm gonna make em for my girls too! Great post!! soooo pretty!!!

Love the idea - I had been wanting to get my BM wine glasses but was thinking i'd paint them, but i def like this idea!!  Where do you get the crystals on ebay? Ive looked and not had luck.

Hey there lori2314- I don't have just one vendor I use. I do a search in ebay for swarovski flatback crystals or flatback crystals swarovski and there are just tons of vendors. I usually just go with the cheapest ones. the size I used for this base are the 30ss and mixed in some pearls...

ok, so i too want to do this for my bridal party but i have one question, i have fake nails, how the heck do you pick them up to stick them onto the glasses?????nplease help i cant hold the jewels with my nails.

I don't use my nails either. I place the jewels so they are pretty side up and then I just press my finger into the top and they stick to my finger and I place it onto the glue that I put on the glass...does that make sense (that was hard to explain). There is also a tool that picks these up at Michaels but no need to spend the mony :)
