Wedding Music And Songs
Baby Grand & Violin it is!

Just found out that the beautiful man took matters into his own hands and booked our ceremony and cocktail hour acts...with a baby grand piano and violin duo! No, he didn't get my approval cause I told him the piano was way too expensive but he found a decent deal and now that's it's booked, I'm just happy.

So they will play during the ceremony and then switch into high gear for the cocktail hour to get the party going. They play all kinds of music from Canon in D to the Killers "Mr. Brightside"...perfect.

I <3 baby grand! My dad will play during cocktail hour which will be amazing but I love the tag team with the violin! Amazing!! :)

EXHALE...thank you babes. I am just happy that it's done. lol. Alhough I would have liked to strangle him I also adore him and love him for takling care of it and for stepping in when the bride has just about given up on planning. lol!

Tasha!! Your dad playing will be so beautiful! :,) Oh, that makes me joyful.

Exactly, and like you said before, he knows his entertainment - you will not be  disappointed with quality lolol. I know price-wise but hey, we've splurged during this process, they're allowed to too, right? ;) And yeah, would I not love it if someone just took it on from here?! Well to that point, someone kinda is lol. My coordinator is taking the reins. So dang happy!

Yeah my dad is a fabulous piano player, cannot read a note of music, just plays by ear. Spectacular talent on that one. He has a list of faves to practice. I was hoping he would get into a studio and record himself playing our ceremony songs, but he's got alot going on.. but at least he will play LIVE for cocktail hour, which is just as cool. :)

club setting, airial acts, baby grand piano, violinist, ROCKSTAR dress, Killer Mariah shoes....I mean Dag girl! ...So LA style! You got it going on! You got alot of things that us "contry bumpkins" in North Carolina can only dream about!! Truely blessed, and  I can't wait to see pictures of your day..I'm sure it's going to be amazing!

How awesome is that! And even more awesome that FH took the initiative to handle that. Live music always sets the mood. We are definitely incorporating that for both our ceremony and cocktail hour. And yes, musicians are quite expensive but sooo worth it to me! It sets the tone and is perfect for the ambiance!

summerbride2010- i am very blessed and I know it! I give all glory to my awesome God though who without I would be nothing, would have nothing and would not be able to have this wedding :) This is grace in action! lol at "contry bumpkins" ...that made me laugh! I can't wait to see pics of your day!! I love all aspects of weddings, all different weddings and they are all beautiful and unique!

sonlove2010- Yeah, I was just telling tashasita that I've given up and Matt has picked up where I've left off. He's a good man :) I do love this aspect, my only reservation about it (at all) was the price which Matt never cares about. OY! That's a tasha word that i love to use now!! :)
