Just thankful today for Matt and for my family and the wonderful friends I have made on WBC and in life. I so often let life get hectic and forget what this wedding is about; about our love, about God bringing us together and pulling us out of destruction and even death. Our story is a long one, our story was sometimes a painful one, but mostly our story is one of happiness, it's one of peace and our story is one of victory in Christ! We are so abundantly thankful to Him for allowing us this glamorous wedding, for loving us when we aren't deserving, for giving to us freely like a Father would even when I am doubtful and for holding us together always. Today I had a shadow of doubt come over me as I did the budget. I turned to Matt and said "what were we thinking?" and his response came quickly and confidently, "we serve the most high God, don't expect any less." mmmm. Today i am thankful to God for allowing me to spend the rest of my life with the strongest man that I know...who reminds me each day who we are and who we serve. Hallelujah.

Oh this is so beautiful it gave me chills. I knew it was you when I saw the line. I always used to say that. And at a time where those shadows are getting to me, I really needed that. I'm with Tashasita on this one, it too gave me chills. I think this is a great reminder for all brides who are feeling a little doubt on how to get the wedding planning done. I know that I have turned to Shawn multiple times and said, "how are we going to do this?" and he just reassures me that it will get done and not to worry. He has been so supportive and strong throughout this whole planning process...and at the end of the day, all that matters is that we will be married on our wedding day. We have since then figured out the money situation and i have been able to enjoy the planning process alot more and not stress out over it as much as i was. Thank you for posting this. It will def be something I read over again to remind me why we are getting married!! :)

Amen! It is great to have strength and be thankful and it is even better when you know there is someone, like Matt, to help you when you are having a weak moment. Thank you for posting this...I really love the beginning part and needed to be reminded of it at this current moment.

God knew what he was doing when he lead you to this website....You give others Encouragment and strength...and reassure us "With God all things are possible"..Even with wedding Budgets.Thanks again for this post!

Im not religous what so ever and this was very religous for a non relious person haha, but I like the part about forgettng the wedding is about love...so often that happens, ive had to step back a few times and think...its our wedding...nothing else really matters. Its good to get back to basics! a reality check lol

Oh the joy I have to know that my praise post touched even 1 person! God is amazing and so apparent in our lives that sometimes I just have to share His goodness! I just saw this post, nidhal...praise God for your beautiful words :) such a sweet post & a great reminder of His sovereignty in our lives. Sean & I just spent the weekend talking about the little ways that we'll choose to make our faith & love for Christ evident to our guests through our wedding day. Thanks for sharing your praises :)

Praise God!! Amen to this one! Wow! I had to log in, to leave a comment on this one!! It is always good to hear that there are still people that believe and give praise to The Most High God!!
