I haven't really been posting about all of my flower DRAMA! Basically we wanted a trio of chrome vases with white flowers and after several awful mock-ups we decided to move in a whole new direction vs. settling for something that just wasn't coming to life. The only reason we didn't leave our florist is because we didn't want to lose our $800 deposit...

Anyway, this is our new direction. I think I really like it, it's not what I originally envisioned but 100% better than what I saw in chrome. I think under the purple lighting we have and tons of candles, it will look great, the hanging crystals are just beautiful in person and we are adding a bit more stark white floral into the centerpiece to balance it out. But this is the basic look. Guess I will have more bling than I thought...

Yeah, originally with the chrome idea, we were doing different vases for every table but I think we are just going to do the same. We only have like 10 tables...although, I may change my mind :)

You can't tell from the pics, but the crystals are layered in 3 layers longest from the inside and the very outside has the large crystal ends...the flowers aren't as white as I would like but they keep assuring me that under lighting, they will look really white. Hope they're right!

I love this!!! didn't you post something like this as a suggestion back in the day.. looks so familiar!!!! I love it :) All blingy and it will catch light and be aaaa maaaayyyy zinggggg!!!! (I kinda sang as I spelled that out) hahahahah

Can I just tell you that I was about to start a DIY that I copied from you.. and was all excited b/c I thought it would be easy and be a big CHECK.. um no.. It's the bride champagne glass you made.... it's not the bride one that's the problem, but I was gonna make them for my bridesmaids, and then went.. crap, the extra "bridesmaid" decals I have aren't stickers!!! They're iron on decals :( booo!!! I tried to get it to stick to the glass...yah, not so much :( fail...lol

Babygirlnaenae- Can you hot glue them on?? You should be able to...I hate when I do stuff like that!! I did hot glue the ends of the bride decal (even though it was a sticker) just to make sure it stayed.

And thanks :) The one I posted before had no flowers. It was all crystals with a couple of rose heads....but yes, similar.

I probably can glue them.. but since it's an iron on.. it doesn't come off in one piece.. it's separate little stones...it would take a year! lol  

That's it!  I freaking love this! best of both worlds!!!!

I remember your first vision but these are really beautiful and they will definitely POP under purple lighting. Those crystals will be uber elegant and beautiful! You made a fabulous decision babes!

Went back to your post a few weeks ago about the wedding you loved, and the centerpieces were very similar to this and it's gorgeous. I think these are even a little nicer with how much crystal there is! YAY! :)

It  all happens for a reason! Even the ridiculous drama! LOL
