The past week has been hectic! No coasting (as Tasha puts it) here... I don't really have words or the energy at the moment to describe everything that is happening and has happened. Family is here, feeling stressed and am trying to get to the point of living in the moment and enjoying this... I look forward to sharing details & pics & advice after the wedding! Love you guys! |

I am now just a few days out and I am feeling a mix of emotions: happy to be marrying Matt, sad that I am ending a chapter of planning, excited to start a new phase, thankful to God for his blessings...I could go on and on.
I am especially thankful to each and every one of you beautiful ladies, brides, moms, superwomen who have made this experience so much fun and memorable. i am thankful for the support, for the honesty, for the inspiration, for the laughs, for the moments your blogs made me cry and for being able to just know that there was someone else out there who felt exactly like I did! I promise you that this process would not have been even half as rewarding if I wasn't able to share it with you. When I started this "blog thing" I never thought that what I was in for was a group of women who would support me, love on me, tell me like it is, and overall just be shoulders to lean on and friends to run to. I found myself tackling projects so I could blog about them, running home to take pictures of everything so i could share and eagerly waiting for feedback from the ladies I grew to care about. I love each of you in a special way. I am thankful that God led me here knowing that you all would ultimately be the core group of women who would be the exact support system that I would need to survive this process. A toast (please raise whatever you are drinking from) to the beautiful brides and for the awesome blessings we are to each other. Congrats to us all and as I always say....YAY! hugs and love from Hollywood, California to all of you wherever you are! xoxoxoxox. |

Holy Wow!
So humbled that I just had to blog about our first in person wedding gift. Matt's groomsman just got in today and presented us with our wedding gift: Movado watches!
I don't even know how to thank someone for something like this. This is beyond extravagent and so sweet and unexpected from a friend! wow. |

Had the last pre-production meeting today and it went great. Wrote a couple of large checks to vendors and everyone is on the same page.
______________________________________________________ Ordered 45 of my favorite cupcakes in the world for the rehearsal dinner and ordered one for me to go! I deserve it. ______________________________________________________ Picking up our first guest from the airport now :) ______________________________________________________ Groomsman #5 dropped out. Good thing we paid for his suit and gift! Yay for wasting money!! HA! ______________________________________________________ House is so clean you could eat off of the floor. Who cleaned it during wedding week? The bride. Feels good though and I have contained all of the wedding madness in one corner :) ______________________________________________________ |

This video is my baby :) I am in love with it. They interviewed us seperately and this is the final edit that we just got. We will play this at our wedding after the aerial show during dinner. It's a bit long, but fun. There are 3 bloopers at the end of it that are funny...and you finally get to hear my voice. I don't know if any of you do this but I give you all voices in my head :) now you can put a voice to the posts!! ha! Please do let me know what you think. Want to see it bigger? DIY Wedding
Wish Tree
Decided to do a wish Tree :) I know, I've lost my mind.
I like the guest book, but thought this might be more fun. I bought a booklet of wedding and love saying on velum paper form Michaels: referred to as the love stack. Cut out all of the quotes, glued them on cardstock and now I have 70 wish cards with a love saying on one side and an empty side for guests to write their wishes on... tied red ribbon to each and will diplay on a round table in the cocktail hour. For instructions, I framed notes and added a few Swarovski crystals for bling. There is a gorgeous manzanita tree at the venue that sits in the middle of the round table that guests will hang their note from... This took me about 40 minutes to complete so fairly easy on the DIY scale. |

Tears of Joy Done
Yes, I took on another unexpected DIY project. Was at Michaels to get more favor tags since I ruined at least 40 of them and ran into these fun "love favor boxes" and decided to make them tears of joy for the criers in tha house :)
This took a whole 10 minutes to do. Loving the easy and super fast DIY projects. Stuffed each favor box with 3 tissues and made a simple sign to match the reserved signs. 11 days... |

DIY Wedding
Placecards Done!
DIY'd this one and happy with the result.
Bought the pre-made placecard sheet from Michaels, printed at home using same monogram we are using for menus and all done. This paper was perforated so taking them apart was super easy! Yay for easy pre-made templates! I've decided to place people to ensure families do sit together and those that should avoid each other don't wind up staring at each other all night :) |

Which Rehearsal Dinner Dress??
So I'm ditching the black BCBG for a more casual dress. Don't want to be over dressed since the dinner is casual and it's from 5-8. Anyway, on our date today Matt and I browsed some fun boutiques on Melrose and I found these 2 dresses that I loved (bought both!!) hehe.
Which should I wear? And I won't be wearing these grey pumps, just slipped 'em on for height :) |
