Candy buffet

I bought all the containers for the candy buffet. I paid $8.99 for the big champagne flute at King Soopers. It was on the clearance shelves in the back and $4.99 for one of the large pieces at Hobby Lobby. It was $9.99 but they were having a 50% off sale on glass. Everything else came from thrift stores. I saw some big martini glasses at Gordman's but I didn't grab one. It was $10.99 I think. I will go get one to round out the group. And I saw a set of three apothecary jars with lids at Save-on-crafts that I think I will order with the other things I'm getting from there. They were only $19.99 for the set of three. That will give me 11 containers to fill. I want to do 6 aqua and 5 red.

I want to do red ribbon on the aqua containers and aqua on the red ones and a cute label from paper presentation maybe. Or a paper dragonfly label made with the giant 2 1/4 x2 1/8 dragonfly punch I just ordered.

Cinnamon gummy bears are $4.99 for 5 lb. at King Soopers regular price and starlight mints are a dollar a pound at Dollar tree. So there's 2 items I'm definitly getting. I saw some Jordan almonds at Save-on-crafts at $22.00 for 5lbs. that are supposedly a good match for my aqua and I will get aqua m&m's for sure. Red vines are also inexpensive at the grocery store so that's one more red. I saw watermelon Jolly Ranchers at Amazon pretty cheap so if I get those that will make 4.

Himself wants cashew Roca. Kind of expensive, but wrapped in dark blue foil and yummy. I think I will put an aqua sticker on each one and splurge on them and I want mini Almond Joys. Gonna look for them on sale at Halloween and package them in heat sealed bags with the machine. They are supposed to be good for at least 6 months according to the company so they should be fine until February.

Some blue raspberry hard candy sticks and rock candy should fill out the aqua side of things
