After careful review of my budget

We have decieded to do a wedding website strictly for RSVP's, we will have a map of how to get to the event times places, the menu choices
registries ect. We will send out invitations with the websites address and anyone who does not have access to email they will be able to RSVP by phone!

This way we will save on postage and contribute to a grenner world!
What do you girls think of that?

It is so useful to have an online RSVP option I think.  I've had family members tell me that they really want to keep the complete invitation so the online RXVP option is the best for them.  Plus on weddingwire its automatically tied into your guest list tool and it keeps track of how many people have responded for different events (ceremony, rehearsal dinner, reception, etc.).  I did just see yesterday though that Offbeat bride has some really cool website templates.  If mine wasn't already up and running...

We're thinking about doing this for our Save The Dates too, and printing them out for any guests that aren't comfortable on the computer (our grandparents for instance).

The only thing bad I can say is like for my family, not everyone has internet, but everyone has a phone....that's why we went with a telephone RSVP service instead of doing them via a website.  The service we used is called See Voo Play and their website is www.seevooplay.net.  It is very reasonably priced at about $30 to $50 (depending on how many invitations you are sending out).  Each guest has a special code they enter to identify their name on the guest list, they enter how many adults, how many children, and can even leave you a voicemail if they want to explain why they can't make it or whatever.  I thought it was great.  You might check into this as well.
