I went to a birthday pary and tasted these cupcakes that were like heaven...just to find out that they were from walmart.....IM LIKE OMG...

so my maid of honor got right on it and they are 36 cupcakes for 30.00 they do not make 100 so i have to buy 3 trays they will make my 6 inch for 8 dollars and any decoration i want.....FREE! so I am getting my cupcakes wedding cake for about 110........talk about saving!!! lol

Seriously- this makes so much sense. It is a cake for Goodness sake- why spend 300-2000 dollars on a cake??? I live in Australia, and trust me, if we had a Walmart I would follow your lead!! Spend the extra cash on stuff that counts!! : )

For my first wedding I had to go with wallmart b/c I wanted to pick it up and 99% of the bakers wont let you. I had them do a three tier and two side's with each of our name on them. They did a great job and it tasted just fine. Congrats.

You are absolutely right.  I actually went to Sams Club and bought them for my engagment party and they were a hit!

I can't wait to check out my local Walmart to see if they carry them. I am thinking that sprinkling edible glitter over all of them would add an extra flair. Great find!

Walmart cake is the best! Normally, I'm not a fan of cupcake cakes, but I love the heart initials. Beautiful!

I couldn't agree more. Why pay so much for cake? Most people don't even EAT the cake... so it's all for show anyway.
Wal Mart has a good reputation, and I wouldn't even hesitate.

We did this for my brothers wedding.  He and his wife got married up in North Conway, NH on a sleigh ride in the middle of the woods.  It was awesome.  They just wanted something low key and have dinner at a local restaurant for a reception but me, my sister and my sister-in-laws sister wouldn't have that so we snuck to Walmart and got 2 different sizes of round cakes frosted white.  We stacked them and got beautiful silk flowers from our local craft store and decorated it all up.  It was awesome and tasted yummy!
