I'm so glad I found a site with Brides other than myself! :)

Is it just me or do you guys feel like it's hard to talk about your wedding with your friends and sisters? I just feel like they're probably sick of hearing all my wedding stuff. I'm just glad I found this place :)

I gave up long ago lol....... even my own mom. Thats why im on WBC so much and that I hired a DOC....the only people who want to hear haha. I try to keep details to a minimum and when they ask me how planning is going I say... yea its okay. I think they think im some easy going no frills bride but when they see all the work and how beautiful it is they will be blown away by the hours and thought i actually put in haha.In the end no one will care about your wedding as much as you

I love WBC!! It's great being asble to compare ideas and inspiration and sometimes just get a bit of reassurance. But I don't really have that problems with my sister and mum, they love talking about my wedding more than I do!

YES! lol! i have a good friend whos my MOH aswell and i try not to go on to much about it thinkin i might become annoying , shes great thou. But its true its hard and this place is great for that we are all in the same boat excicted as can be about our weddings and plans.Glad I found you guys :)

Same here! It's nice to share my thoughts on here and get feedback from people who are in the same boat I am. I've never seen a site so positive either, and I love it! Wonderful woman on here!!

this site is seriously awseome. Im on here regularly and another site I found super helpful was the boards on www.weddingbee.com which both a fabulous for feedback and getting creative ideas!

Its great also just to have an electronic diary of everything and how much my wedding has evolved! anyway. Welcome! glad to have you on deck :)

I kind of don't talk with my people about wedding stuff until they ask me -- it's just what I naturally did -- but my bridesmaids are all fair game! I'll talk their ear off about wedding stuff: muahahaah!

yeah totally agree. No-one here's much interested for more than a few minutes. I can totally indulge myself on here. Be careful, it's addictive!

I've even stopped asking my maid of honor stuff because I sometimes feel like I'm being a bother. She has never said that and I'm probably just being paranoid but I don't bother. One of my bridesmaids though (my 18 yr old daughter) is getting the brunt of it because everytime I need help, I turn to her. There are 7 girls in total but she seems to be doing everything. The there are 2 of the girls that are completely uninvolved...... so, yeah, I definately know how you feel.

Thats really cool your daughter is there for you :) Just ask your friend to help.

I just told my closest friends ( that are my brides maids )  that I wasn't helped the way I always imagined I would be. And the wedding is NExt month already! But my best friend for 21 years told me I never asked.... so she assumed I was covered by my future sisters in law and Mother in law. Maybe she's right, but I also didn't want to bother her. She has a family :)
