Good Morning Brides, and brides-to-be
The ladies of WBC has the power of prayer that is so wonderful. I know I can come to you now in my time of grief. On April 05, 2012 My grand aunt passed away who was in the hospital for 3 months. The crazy thing about it is she was admitted in the hospital because she fell in her bathroom. Behold, I don't know what other illness that she has suffered. I just wish that I could spend 1 more day with her. She was looking forward to my upcoming wedding. On April 06, 2012, My cousin was butally murder just hours after leaving his mom's Alpha Beta Sigmon ceremony. Ladies, he is only 20- years old. Police, stated that he was shot in the head. These special people will be greatly missed. I have not told Fhubby about my cousin due to the fact they were really close and Fhubby just started getting back to his normal self. Love one another ladies, You will never know when the time will come. I oray peace, and joy during these trials of great pain that I am enduring right now.. Thanks a milli ladies |

I know we as upcoming brides, and past brides have connected as family even better as sisters from far and near. We even have gotten closer to be on other social media such as Facebook, twitter etc. Please, don't call me crazy but, I think it is funny when you can go a whole year or 2 year with somebody on WBC and help them with wedding related issue but, when they post something you post encouraging things on their facebook or, just to drop in to say hi they don't ever respond. .................................................... Can Somebody explain this...................................................... .................................................. I reall want honest answers/opinions..................................... I don't want to say it is favoritism. But, that is what its looking like.. Maybe I am missing the concept . I really would like some honest answers, and opinions. I love you ladies a milli =) |

Wedding Update....
Hello Brides, and Bride-2-be's
First, I would like to say that I misss you ladies a lot but, I have been on commenting on some brides post. I have been so busy with school, and work. I have took a step back from planning. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Updates <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Fhubby, has not been feeling his best over the last couple of weeks so, they have sent him to Washington, to get some test done, and he had to be on bed rest. This time he has been listening to his doctors by not over working himself. He is trying to get better. Ladies, I need you to keep him uplifted in your prayers. He is going through a little tough time. >> We have decided to change our wedding colors to Purple, teal, and green << >>We have starting seeking a Day of Wedding Coordinator so, we will see how that goes as the time progresses << >> We just found out that Fhubby will not be returning until December 15th so, basically I am still doing some of the wedding palnning on my own but, my FMIL and Mommy are helping me as much as the could. I am still alive ladies. I am just checking in with you lovely ladies!!! Happy Planning =) |

Happy Hump day ladies...
Okay, ladies I need your Fab-tastic opinions.. So, here it is!!! I would like to do All Access passes for our guest. Here are 3 reasons that I would love to them. First, reason is that I can make my guest feel like that are at an EXCLUSIVE event bigger then the Oscar or the Grammy's ( Just kidding). 2nd reason is I know I might have so announced POPPERS!!! Those are the one's that did not RSVP by the specific date. Last but, not least this is will also allow them to go back, and forth to the cash bar, and to have access over the entire Wedding reception. Ladies if you say Yes, to the pass. How should I do then?? 1st option: I was going to do Welcome bags for out of town family, and friends. The bag will include directions to the ceremony/Reception venue, Itineary for things that are going on for Team Edwards / Glam Squad weekend, etc. 2nd Option: At the Reception Venue I am going to have 2 sets of tables during the cocktail hour for my hostess to check people. Do you think I should give out passes then?? Tell me what you think?? ( Please give me your honest opinions) |

Happ Tuesday Brides, and Bride-to be's
I really wanted some confetti, and I have called around to see if I can have some for Damien & I wedding day. Well, I finally found some. WE ARE HAVING CONFETTI LADIES- THANKS TO FMIL!!!! :D (Ceremony) * Change or plans* Instead of our family & friends throw the flowers on us as Damien and I exit the church. This is what we decided to do. Damien, is going to throw flowers down to pave the way for his bride to be* (Reception) Damien, and I are going to have our finally dance to At Last by Etta James in front our family, and friends as soon as the song is almost finish playing the Dj is going to announce the Mr. & Mrs and the confetti is going to pop out ( I LOVE IT) Once everything is wrap up, and finish from the reception our guest are going to be standing outside with sparklers to send Damien and I off with a BIG BANG!!!! I love it ladies. I have already put in the order so, I shall be recieving everything within the next few weeks. Tell me what you think ladies!!!! |

I forgot to post my proposal story when I first join the site. I was just excited to finally get the ball rolling. I apologize ladies that I am now just posting this please forgive me!!!
Fhubby and I actually went to elementary school in New York together I left when we both were in 3 grade. We talked everyday , and we will send each other letters every week. We reunited Our 8th grade year of middle school. He shocked me because I didn't know he was there. My best friend said, You Fhubby is here (lol). I was like who!!! He came behind me 1 day in the Cafeteria. I was so happy to see him.. We spent that entire Summer together with our grandmother's. We assumed that we were going to the same high school. The first year we went to different high school but, we reunited our sophomore year of high school, and have been together ever since then. The night before we graduated high school he told me he was leaving in 2 weeks to go into the Army. I was so mad with him. We broke-up.. Nobody knew. I felt bad but, I wish he could of told me. He try to see me everyday but, I was hurt that he had to leave. The morning before he left he made his last attempt to see me. We talked for a bit but, all I did was cry because I really did love him and I did not wanted him to go. 2 months had past before I saw him again. OMG !! I must say he did look delicious (lol) His sister and I were best friends, and we were going to freshman orientation for 1 of the colleges and he came along with his sister, and mother. It felt like I was in love all over again. What shocked the hell out of me was that I went over there and hugged him and it felt soooo good :D. I remember the last thing he said, was he was never going to let me go. I cried so hard like I lost my best friend or something (lol).Fast forward June of 2010 It was my 21st birthday, and I was unaware my mom had a surprise birthday party for me. I notice that he was acting a little weird that day!!! I asked him what was wrong he was like "nothing" why you say that. I told him he was making me paranoid. He was like every thing was good. It was time for me to open up my gifts, (Which I had a lot of them.. lol) The music started playing. I can't remember the name of the song but, I saw him keep digging in his pocket. He puzzled me a little bit!!! I kept my eyes on him like a hawk. I remember he walked over to the the DJ and grabbed the mic. I was saying to myself please don't embarrass me. He said, Rye do you mind coming to front in center. I am thinking I am about to get a car because my old car was standing on her last leg and I needed one asap (lol). I was getting all excited. Before he could say anything else I said, Boy, hand me over the keys to my new ride.. He looked at me like this girl is really crazy.. I said, hand it over (lol_ I was laughing soooo hard. He said, I am going to hand you something alright while I had my hand out he got on one knee and open this box. Everybody stated screaming. He said, his speech. I couldn't remember but, I did remember him saying Do you want to be a solider's wife?? Before, I said anything my mama said Yeah she will marry you. Everybody started laughing. I was in tears (You could tell by now) I am a big baby. I think I said Yes, like 2 times and he slipped it on my finger. The last thing he said, Was see I told you I was not going to let you go. I was so happy. P.S. FHubby, brought me a new ring as well !!! |

I have a question for you fab ladies!!! How many of you are letting your maid & matron of honor stay with you the night before the wedding. Either at your house or at your birdal suite. I would want to be alone the night before my wedding at my bridal suite so, that I can enough rest, peace and relaxation my last night being single!!! Also, the morning of my wedding I don't want nobody waking me up except for the alarm. ( I might be up before the alarm.. LOL) The morning of my wedding I would like to get at least a 30- minute massage, shower and some good, hearty breakfast before my diva's come and help me get glamour up for the big day!! I have been in weddings were the bridal party stays with the bride the night before her wedding but, I think that the night before the bride should get plenty of rest for her big day!! I love my girls but, I am going to need me some down time.. So, ladies tell me what you think!!1 |
