So yesterday there was two bridal fairs going on. The first one was my venues own personal bridal fair. You got to see the many ideas they could do for your own wedding, taste their or'dourves( how ever its spelled lol), drink wine and mimosa from their bartenders ( hmm hmm yum yum it was good) and just see everything from lightening, to set up, photo booths, etc. We also got to see the chapel decorated and the cocktail hour place and how they could do the outdoor garden area for an outdoor wedding. They also had their most valued vendors that their brides do the most business with. We had absolute fun! I went with my MOH and a few bridesmaids. We drank mimosa, and wine and took so many pics in the photo booths ( which now im really wanting for the wedding). The best part is I found out that their house wine is my most favorite wine! down the street is a winery that me and my FH wine taste at, and we fell in love with the California almond sparking wine. So I was so happy to find out this will be the wine at our wedding that is free with our package...
Anyways, as most of you know ( if you read my blogs) I have been struggling with finding what center pieces I want...I seen some rose and Manzanita tree branches and fell in love with it, ima post another blog about that though lol. So I was really happy I found something I like.
Well we had so much fun, and there was another bridal show ( bridal expo) going on just about 10 minutes away from where we were, so we decided to head over and check it out for more fun. Well this one of course was much more bigger and more people. We hit up the photobooths some more ha ha! One of my MOH's ( i have two both my sisters) decided she loved the photobooth so much she wants to help us get one, or at least try and make one on our own so we dont waste so much money, I found a few more manzanita tree branch decorations, maybe for the bridal table, or as a wish tree....
aside from this I talked to a few photographers since I am currently seeking to book one soon. I found a privately owned company, Its a Father, mother and son who are all photographers, Their not a big company but I seen some of their work and i was very impressed. Their package comes with all 3 people ( all would be taking pictures), full day service and they are extremely cheap compared to other places. So I set up an appointment to talk more to them and see how it goes.
We also watched the bridal run way show, and enjoyed it too. It was a very fun day with me my sisters and a few of my bridesmaids. I am so happy I went to my venues one though, because I got to really see what they can do, and was very impressed, got more excited, and my ideas are know flowing like a river ha ha.... I know this post is long but if you read this far thank you, I am just excited and had super fun!
