D is for my dresses

So I have decided on my dress... but my bridesmaid dresses i dont know what i want yet.

So question.... do i buy the bridesmaid dresses or do i tell them they need to buy them?

Tell me which dresses that you like... example which bride dress and which bridesmaid dress.

C is for my gorgous cake.

So I want this simple cake from Fancy Cake Shop in Carlisle, PA. But hopefully I can get it cheaper because one of my good friends knows someone who bakes cakes.

But i want the cake white with maybe black or red or both for the scroll.

B is for my DAMN budget

So I'm trying to stay under $3,000 for the budget. I know that sounds like omg whats her wedding going to be like... but im going to do a lot of it myself. But a lot of it will be bought by my mom because i dont talk to my father and hes not invited

So yeah wish me lucky with that

A is for accessories

Bride: my grandmother is going to let me borrow her red ruby jewelry set for my BORROWED THING...

Bridesmaids: for the bridesmaids i wanted something plain and normal....

Are you ladies do the whole something OLD something NEW something BORROWED something BLUE?

So ive seen a couple of the other ladies do a A, B, C wedding. Example a is for accessories, b is for bouquets.... so so...

Hey ladies... i know i've been M.I.A. lately but it's been a little crazy for about a month now....

One of my good friends from work pasted away on August 25th, 2010... we knew it was going to happen but it still was so upsetting... she had pacreatic cancer and it was so bad there at the end. She had cancer of the throat about 5 years ago and then about 9 months ago they told her she had pacreatic cancer. But it's been upsetting to me because i was so close with her.

Then last week another one of my close friends from work, her name is Grace, told me her cancer was back.... OMG. She also had cancer before, about 5 or so years ago. She had breast cancer and beat it. But this time it's extremely worse. She has it in her bones, spinal area, possibly her liver, and in her lymph nodes. So she possibly won't be able to beat it.

So this past whole month and more has been so terrible and upsetting i just havent been able to work on the wedding....

So i'm back for a while....

My story on how it happened...lol... your gonna laugh...

About 3 months ago i was on my computer looking at i think the website THEKNOT.com.... and i started thinking about my wedding... i looked on the calendar and like i said before i want to get married on my anniv. date that i already have because it special to me...which is AUGUST 4th....

So i looked on the calendar and i went through the year got to 2011 and then to 2012... so august 4th was on a saturday in 2012 so thats how the date came...

Now the proposal...lol... that day when i was looking at wedding details and picked out the day.... my FH was outside working on his car and he came in and i was like we are getting married and hes like what i was like we are getting married AUGUST 4th, 2012 and hes like okay!!

So thats my funny outragous proposal story... but lucky for him i already have the ring and he just gave it to me...

I know you ladies are like OMG are you serious but we have been together for 6 years this year and we both knew we were going to stay together and get married so it just happened....

LADIES.... let me know which wedding band you think will go better with my ring...

So i made up a few different invites..now all i have to do is find out which one i like that most...

tell me what you guys think so i can get this done with lol

Here are the 2 dresses that im deciding on...i really like the 2nd one but i have a feeling that im going to try it on and hate it!!! I love number one too..... i wanted something different and thats what both of these are.

So im doing my whole wedding in DIY. Which is crazy for me because im not really crafty i try to do but it normally dont turn out good so we will try. But anyways i am making my own invitations and i love stars and my FH is into playing the guitar and is a big fan of Randy Rhoads (guitarist for ozzy...before he died) who has a guitar with polka dots. So i made black, red, and white star/polka dot invitations.

I dont know if i want the whole thing all black or black with white where the words go... so anyone with an opinion please help me decide
