Reception Music
Karaoke or no karaoke?

When I booked my D.J., we had a sit-down meeting and talked about my view of the reception. He asked many questions about my music preferences, like what genres to play and which ones not to play, etc. After about 15 or 20 minutes, he asked if I wanted to let people sing karaoke. I was completely dumbfounded. That never even crossed my mind! I immediately said no, as it could turn for the worse really quick, but after a few days of thinking, I may want to reconsider. That would be the perfect way to get people excited and having fun! What do you all think? Karaoke or no karaoke?

we did that at my cousins wedding and it was great. a few people could sing. the best part was watching the "well known" bridesmaids sing like a virgin. LOL

I've been considering it myself. Haven't decided to or not. My groom doesn't think it's a good idea b/c no one will do it. I'm looking for some sort of "entertainment" though.
