I rec my first bundle of joy May 1, 2003, and my second bundle of joy on December 15, 2005. Im a child of God, wife, mother, daughter, sister & friend. Thanking the Lord for my mother & mother n law (RIP), grandmothers, aunts, cousins, sisters, friends, and mothers across the world.

Honoring the memory
What ways are you remembering lost loved one's at the ceremony?
On August 27, 2007 Darnell lost his mother & bestfriend. Well, we've decided to have a memorial table on display at the ceremony with a pink memorial candle. A poem that will be written in her memory dedicate during the ceremony to her.

I know it will be very emotional...whenever I think about her not being there, I get misty, but I know they are here for us in spirit.

What if anything are you ladies doing to honor lost loved one's at your ceremony?

One can still conjure up images of the 'ghosts' of the beach, the sounds of families and lovers laughing and a lineup of Model 'T' Fords as they enjoyed the best that life could imagine!

Specific Issues: Beaches and lakes are breezy, so keep decorations simple and well secured. Beware heels, which will sink in the sand. Another idea: provide a small throw blanket on each person's chair as your wedding favor since it's always a bit cooler at the shore. Also check the tide schedule -- tides coming in are noisier than tides going out, plus you risk the chance of water creeping up on you as you wed.
