Is it too soon to get wedding bands?
I was thinking that my fiance and I should go look into getting our wedding bands but he thinks its too soon. The only reason, I thought about it is because my engagement ring is custom made so I need to get a matching band that is also custom made. Besides, he's really picky as far as what he wants. He doesn't want it to have bling but something more simple. I still need to post pictures of my ring but here is a crappy shot of it in the meantime.

Do diamond prices fluctuate like other things like gas?? Or are we ok to wait?? Has anyone bought their rings yet this far in advance??

I got my wedding band a few months after getting my engagement ring. We had the same thing. My engagement ring was custom made and therefore my band had to be also. It's never too early to do anything for weddings!!!!!! Please trust me on this. I've had my bands now for a year and a half. They have been packed away and waiting for our big day. The price shouldn't go up in diamonds but I did it because I wanted to have things done ahead of time and paid for so that way I won't be doing everything in the last month and freaking out being one of those brides that are having a melt down because I left everything to the last minute.

I am less than 2 months away from my big day and I'm sitting here bored to death because I have everything done!!! No stress and I'm just waiting for the time to come.

My wedding band came with my engagement ring. But while we were on vacation we went to a jewlery store and looked he found one that he really likes so I went ahead and got it..we have 305 days left so I would say its okay to get it if you find the one you want!

it's not diamond prices you need to worry about. it's gold prices. it's been steadily climbing for the past year and it looks to keep going up. My dad can remember when gold was only $30/oz but now it's over $100/oz. I want to go ahead and get my ring as soon as we can, be it either custom made or an insert that we find somewhere because I really don't want to pay anymore than i have to.

I have the same wedding date as you (yay!) and we're going to be looking at rings next month.. I want to make sure that expense is out of the way so that I'm not having to pay that closer to the wedding...
