If you are staying local, check if you will require a permit. If you opt for a destination beach wedding then check out visa and other legal requirements. Make arrangements for lodging for out-of-town guests. Consider hiring a wedding coordinator. Or work out how if your schedule will allow you to plan it yourself. Decide if you will have a civil or religious ceremony then make arrangements with the officiator. ~DONE~ Decide if you want a beach wedding reception too or you may need to hire a venue. Select your wedding dress and accessories. Choose the bridesmaids, groomsmen, ushers, and honored roles. Scout the florist, photographer, caterer, videographer, and D.J. or entertainment to discuss budgets and service packages. Discuss the guest list with fiancé and families. Plan the beach wedding reception music. Contact a rental coordinator for equipment reservations. Discuss honeymoon and reservations. (Traditionally the groom makes all the honeymoon arrangements.) Arrange for time off work, if necessary. Develop record-keeping system for invitations, gifts, and thank-you notes. ~DONE~ Complete guest list and address invitations so everyone has sufficient time to budget and plan. ~DONE~

4-6 MonthsTo The Wedding Date Plan new living arrangements will you move house to your fiance's place or an entirely new place. Select and register wedding gifts and patterns. Select color scheme. ~DONE~ Order dress and accessories. Order bridesmaids' dresses, shoes and accessories. Have parents select attire. If you wont be using a caterer then you may need to order necessry cutlery and crockery. Arrange for physical examinations, dental appointments, etc.
TAKE TWO Time for another time out. Check out your chosen destination, if it is local. Scout out to see which is the best spot for the ceremony. Most important try to relax. 2 Months Order wedding bands~DONE~ Order wedding and groom's cakes. Plan ceremony, reception, menus, master of ceremonies, music, and timetables. Plan rehearsal dinner, and bridesmaids' luncheon. Purchase gifts for attendants and groom and guest favors
TIME OUT!
Ok you've been planning a wedding for the last 5 months, this time you take a break, why not take some alone time. Go off by yourself or with a close friend or friends to take a break from the wedding planning. When you get back from your time out..you will have just one month left before the big day. If you stick to your goals from day 1, the last 30 days will be a breeze.
