I'm so glad the pealing process is now completed. My sore finger tips! LOL All 5,000 petals not including our orchids are organized. So excited about this project. All inspired from Glamdivabride's petal runner. I can't wait to get it started!

These are so pretty togehter!  I really love all the petals. Where did you order them from?  I saw some at Michaels but I think it was 9.99 for 300? Can't remember? Are you going to put these onto the aisle runner? How are you going to do it? It's so pretty.

Seansgirl: These will be side petals against an aisle runner. Since we are having a beach wedding, an aisle runner is not going to be used, but the petals will be laid onto the sand to our wedding alter. Silk Petals are super expensive and I've done my homework first. I ended up buying these on ebay.  Make sure to get them from a USA dealer.  I'm not sure about oversea vendors in China/Hong Kong areas. I've never ordered from there, but I received mine within a week!

I know that some of the other brides here have dyed thier own rose petals from the Dollar Tree Stores at 1.00 for 150? I think?

Excellent idea!  Thanks for sharing!  I will order my petals from them. That is an awesome price compared to the other stores!  You mentioned pealing them? What is that?

I posted this about a month ago about when these come to you they are pressed together, so you have to peel them one by one. Yes, by one by one. LOL...You know while you are looking a t..v. is  wonderful time to do these.

Those colors are so beautiful.....lol maybe im slow but are you going to clue/sew them to a runner to get the look you want or just lay them out to get a visual of how you want them to look on the beach?
