~Our Renewals~ How many of you are getting a second dress? Our vows will be on the beach and the professional water photography photos of thrash the dress afterwards, I am considering a dress like this for the reception. I want to rock our reception.
I was thinking about this? I think I would like to wear my dress all day and through out the evening? I am afraid of being uncomfortable like Chanel has said? I want to be comfortable throughout the day.
Im completely on the fence about a reception dress and this is why: I cant see spending 4500 dollars on my dream gown (and then some on other stuff like veil and accessories) and then buying ANOTHER dress :\ BUT: I dont think I could dance all night in a long poofy gown. and itll be hot out, too.
So its a hard decision. Yes it'll be more comfortable to buy a reception dress, but why buy a wedding dress, if youre only planning on wearing it for a 30 minute ceremony. I mean you should pick out a dress bought with comfort in mind i guess.
I opted for the "Bride" tank and "Mrs. Carpenter, est. 5-27-12" Hoodie to change at the reception. It was cute, comfortable and cost effective! I ordered the tank with the bridal party tees thru etsy (gorup order discount) and found a local business on Facebook for the hoodie. I got a ton of compliments on the hoodie, blinged out tank and matching croc flip flops - all under $100.
