Sicne we are definitely doing our island destination renewals, orchids have played a big part in our theme. I just love this bouquet. Even though I already have one in mind with ivory, fushia and seashells added, this one has captured my heart.

Hubby mentioned to me, do you want a real one? I actually said no. Can you believe that? They are so expensive and I would rather use that money of a $385.00 bouquet on something else on the island, like a romantic dinner for two, a helicopter ride, a dinner cruise...You know?

Would you do the real bouquet or do something else? LOL

I totally agree! We plan to have all real flowers for the bridal party and reception flower centerpieces, but fake coursages for cake cutters, punch serves, and guest book, etc...

Rhonda!! I must say that I love that bouquet! There is just something about orchids that I love and it's NOT the price tag! Lol.

After seeing the price of bouquets at our resort/venue.. We are doing all silk flowers except for the centerpieces! It's budget friendly and I can get it done and off my list before we leave for Jamaica!

Oh, this is beautiful. I went through the same thing as you know about us and our wedding plans. We are going with silks, because we can use the monies toward something else more useful. I love this bouquet to. Wow, orchids are really expensive!

I saw that bouquet also! Love it. I decided on the hanging orchid bouquet which if real is sooo expensive. I'm planning on having submerged orcids at the wedding. And I've decided to go fake. I found ones that are real touch at Joanns that are SO beautiful!
