what kind of guest book are you doing?

So what kind of guest book is everyone doing? Are you going the traditional route or doing something a little more spicy?

We were going to do the whole leaf thumb print tree thing but then I thought, do I really want that thing hanging in my house forever. Maybe, maybe not. Then I saw this beautiful number <-------- and decided to go traditional.

I've ordered this guestbook from EmersonBindery (http://www.etsy.com/shop/EmersonBindery) on etsy and it was quite a bit cheaper than the non-traditional route. I've also bought a cute little holder from Michaels that I will have to share once we find the right pen.

ooh and it should be arriving today!

I'm going to so something a little spicier....well not too spicy :). I've been contemplating between an autograph photo book or a autograph picture frame. I found this nice autograph picture frame website, but I don't think I want to spend the money on it because the frames are not elegant enough for me and don't match the decor in my home.

So I think I will just go with a DIY autograph picture frame. Buy a nice gold frame possibly from AC Moore (craft store like Michaels) you can always find 60% off of custom framing there and purchase the matte myself.

We are doing a guest pic that has pictures from our engagement session. We are having it made using the Blurb.

We are making a Wish Tree. I have printed off tags for people to write a message on, draw a pictue or whatever and hang on the tree.

we are doing postcards from our home towns, I just printed them at home, and bought a mailbox. So it'll will be our first 'mail' as newlyweds!
